I am perplexed

moped replied: I would say at the point you are at, maybe don't look at the scale so much but fouc on the toning and exercise - who cares what the scale says it you are in an 8!!!!!!!

I'm just curious b/c I was in an 8 at my h.s. reunion and sort of fell off the wagon (so to speak), but really didn't gain much weight back. I did gain inches, though. So, while the scale didn't show a gain...I could really tell that by not exercising I had gained my inches and hurt myself in that way.

I bet the exercise is what is doing it. wink.gif Like the others said, dont' pay attention to the scale. hug.gif

I cannot stress enough how proud you make me and how much you inspire me to keep going at this!!! wub.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: I agree sounds like iches are be losed and your toning up. Dont worry about the scale as much now you have lost so much and in an 8 I cant waite to be there with ya. I need to do meaurements myself cause while my scale is not moving much I have noticed a change in my tummy so I am thinking I am loosing inces over the weight and hopefully the lbs will soon fall off

TANNER'S MOM replied: Well I had to get fit enough by walking daily to take my exercise a step further. I walk for 30 minutes a night..and then I do 30 minutes of either Yoga or a Low Impact Cardio work out. I like the Yoga..but I try to do it just 3x a week.

I went Sat and Sun of last week with out working out. I hate that! But I have been back on the wagon.. I did my normal workout last night and I pumped to go tonight.

coasterqueen replied: Sounds like it was the change in exercise that is helping you lose inches. I know for me it totally depends on the workout whether I see results or not. I see more results when I do taebo versus walking. But inches is GREAT! Especially if you are in a size 8! thumb.gif


Seriously I'm in a size 10/12......I WANT to be in a 6/8. tongue.gif But for me I'd have to lose a LOT of inches to get there. wacko.gif

I think we are just built different. I bet you get really cute shirts that I can't wear..and I am so jealous of that!

BTW, I think you are right, we are built different. I have the widest hips ever and too much baby got back. rolleyes.gif The problem always is getting a pair of pants up over my hips because I have a fairly tiny waist. That's like I can actually fit into my size 6 pants now but can't buttom them because of my broad hips. rolleyes.gif

You should be VERY happy at an 8 because you look absolutely G O R G E O U S!!! thumb.gif
