How much did you end up spending - for easter??

mckayleesmom wrote: I spent about 70 dollars....give or take...So about 35 for each kid....Everything is soo flippin expensive these days.. blink.gif

Brias3 replied: Hard to say, I bought everything here and there, not all at the same time or anything, so on average probably around $50 for each kid plus baskets and such wacko.gif What's more is that my husband now wants to pick up new bikes for the kids tomorrow- well, at least Ryan and Aliyah. Even though they DO need them, I already have so much for them and don't want to make a habit of going over-board for holidays. Still, I don't want it to be just some random Tuesday and go, here's a new bike! Of course, it would be perfect timing, plus that way its "for" something but I don't know whether to give him the go ahead or wait unsure.gif

Everything adds up these days!

My3LilMonkeys replied: blush.gif Um, I didn't go shopping yet. I'm planning to go tomorrow - but still trying to figure out how to buy the stuff with Brooke there and make her think the bunny brought it. She's a smart one so I don't think I'm going to be able to pull it off unless I can find a babysitter.

mckayleesmom replied: Here is what I did....I had bought a couple tank tops.....I took Mckaylee and Russ to the Easter junk isle and I would point something out to Mckaylee and as she looked at it...I would shove the stuff under my shirt.

3xsthefun replied: Well, DH already bought them a sand box.

I will probably pick up a few more things tomorrow.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Nothing yet. blush.gif

mckayleesmom replied: Or you can buy a laundry basket for 5 bucks and put everything in there.

gr33n3y3z replied: Nothing yet not sure if iam going to.
maybe another fruit basket bigthink.gif

My3LilMonkeys replied:
I'll have to try that....then I can get some new clothes too. emlaugh.gif

AlexsPajamaMama replied: I got things here and there, I was just looking at everything yesterday and Ive gotten him sooooo much already its not even funny...plus he just had a birthday last week! wacko.gif Oh Well!

coasterqueen replied: I know I didn't spend anymore than $30 on each kid because I only budgeted $60 to spend. biggrin.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I spent about $25 on each kid. wink.gif

jacobsmama replied: I haven't went yet either blush.gif tommorrow...Happy Easter Everyone! wub.gif

luvmykids replied: I haven't gotten a thing! But I love the idea of a sandbox!!!! We used to have a golf green at our old house and they played in the bunkers but now our yard seems so small and they get bored so fast. Thats the ticket thumb.gif Thanks!

MommyToAshley replied: I bought Ashley a Dora baseball bat and ball yesterday and I will pick her up a small basket. So, not a whole lot. But, the Bunny did give her the playhouse early. wink.gif

DH and I picked her up some new sand for her sandbox and some new sandtoys yesterday. But, she says that's "FROM DADDY" laugh.gif

Nina J replied: To much laugh.gif

I think I spent around $100, including things for DH.

amynicole21 replied: About $65 - much more than I had planned! (as usual) rolleyes.gif

luvbug00 replied: umm like 25 bucks Eater isn't a holiday really for us but we are visiting relitives who celebrate it 100% so We had to get squirrl more then her usual small basket.

JP&KJMOM replied: I did not spend alot but my mom always gets them a million things so I just let her do the majority cause she will anyway! biggrin.gif

jem0622 replied: Gosh I'm not sure. LOL. Sad, isn't it? I went to Wal-Mart and got eggs, grass, and plastic eggs w/ candy in them. We'll be having an egg hunt so that should be fun. I bought them books for way cheap several months ago. So they'll get candy and a few books. Don't know what the grandparents have planned for them!

MamaJAM replied: $1.48....the price of the 4 stamps I used to mail cards to people tongue.gif

Then again...don't ask me what I ended up spending on Passover this year -- between food and the new dishes we needed. unsure.gif
