How long.......

CosmetologyMommy wrote: How long can your car stay clean for?

MomToMany replied: About 5 seconds. Seriously.

kit_kats_mom replied: my car stays pretty clean inside. I keep armorall and windex wipes in there and I tidy up when I'm at stop lights or waiting in traffic. I clean the toys & sippy's out at least every other day. I hate a trashy car. Outside it stays better since I have a garage. I'm not so good about washing it but I just got a new pressure washer and that makes it easier. blush.gif

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I think I second Mollie's post. About 5 secs. The Jeep seriously needs a bath, which is DH's job. I think we will hold off though. It got all full of salt dust when we drove home from WV and since it's winter I guess we can hold off.

remtana replied: Ours getting cluttered really fast. Our truck stays clean better. I drive the truck and my DH drives the car to work for better gas mileage. He tends to throw stuff (papers and and pop cans & misc. stuff in the passengers area, and then I have to clean it out when we go somewhere together. ) Other than that, it stays decent.

My3LilMonkeys replied: Exterior - not long. Interior - mine will stay clean for months, it is a junker so it only goes back and forth to work usually. DH's about 2 days - he is a slob.

Mollie, I LOVE your siggy! rolling_smile.gif

luvmykids replied: About as long as my house stays clean, which falls into the 5-7 second range.

MomToMany replied:
smile.gif Thanks!

My van is always a disaster. DH gets on my case to clean it; he assumes I can clean it as I'm driving rolleyes.gif . He says if I can drive it, I can clean it.

It will go t hrough a car wash whenever Dh is with & we have enough change. otherwise the top half is dark green, and the bottom is white rolling_smile.gif .

Freckled Momma replied: LOL...with 4 kids...maybe a day, if they aren't in it... blink.gif

CantWait replied: 1 Day, then the crap is piled up again rolling_smile.gif

MyLuvBugs replied: Well, if I'm driving it all the time, then at least a month. If DH is driving it, even for a day, it will be FILTHY! UGH. rolleyes.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: sadly, only a couple of days... if that! I shoes/clothes in the trunk (as extras) but Kellie and I both take our shoes off in the car, and they get piled up again. Gumball machines toys, & balls are almost always scattered in there.

PhiMuMommy replied: cars clean? huh? blink.gif blink.gif

i practically live in my car.. it's full of clothes school books, toys, and yes mcdonald fries.. the outside gets cleaned about every month or two.. i try to clean out my car vacuum etc at least once a month so it doesn't get bad.. but like i said i practically live in it.. so it doesnt' last long! rolleyes.gif

MamaJAM replied: Actually - my Relay is still pretty clean (bought it new almost a year ago). I keep a trash bag in there so garbage can't pile up.....and the kids rarely bring food or drinks inside. The floor mats near the sliding door that's used most are a little grimy -- but it's tan inside so that disguises most of the muck.
I also have fleece blankets in there for each of the kids to use on cold days - I bought a cloth laundry bag to keep them in...that helps control that pile too.

BAC'sMom replied: LOL….5 seconds max!

The other day while I was sitting in the truck at a light. I noticed that there was a layer of dust on the control panel and dash. I wrote “HELP ME” in the dust of control panel , don’t know why just did. The next time my husband drove the truck, he asked me “hey, do you need help or was the note from the truck”
IT WAS SO FUNNY! rolling_smile.gif
