How inconsiderate is this? - Just plain mean!

There was a situation in our area where a mother thought her infant daughter had perished in a fire. Only to learn 6 yrs later that her neighbor kidnapped her daugther from her crib and claimed her as her own. The woman noticed the child looked much like her own (they were at the girl's bday party) and she told the girl she had gum in her hair so that she could get some strands and have the DNA tested. Unbelievable.
