How do you wash your whites?

Kaitlin'smom wrote: meaning what tempture (cold, warm, hot)
bleach or no bleach?

luvbug00 replied: hot water and lots of bleach. smile.gif

JP&KJMOM replied: Hot and depending on what is in there with adding bleach. If there are t shits with print I hold off on the bleach.

amynicole21 replied: Warm wash/Cold rinse - I don't like them to shrink. We never use bleach... mostly because we have very little that is solid white.

Here's a question though - how do you wash colorful underwear? We always wash underwear on warm (I never really use hot), but we have some underwear that is brightly colored and I never know what to do with it. It usually goes in with the warm stuff now since it's been washed 100x already wink.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: interesting.

I use cold and no bleach....it would runin to much.

undies if colored it goes with the colored clothes. also cold wash.

towels is the only thing I use warm or hot water on.

aspenblue1 replied: hot with bleach.

C&K*s Mommie replied: hot wash, warm rinse-- we do not always have bleach in the house, so when we do I use it then. If not, then I use a little extra detergent.

Colorful undies, I wash with the darks or anything else that will not bleed. For anything besides all whites (i.e. bed linens, towels, and undershirts) I use cold wash/cold rinse.

soo cute! I can't stop laughing!! emlaugh.gif rolling_smile.gif emlaugh.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: i wash everything on warm/cold, no bleacj.

However for whites (socks, bras, undies, shirts) I put them in a pot of boiling water on the stove, with some lemon juice (1 to 2 tablespoons)

I usually only do this if the whites really need to be white though, not all the time. Only when the socks are still black after a wash!!

Ashlynn's Mommy replied: I put it on white was, hot water. I use tons of bleach, sometimes I get too carried away. Two cap fulls of detergant. The baby's clothes I wash seperate from our clothes, and I only use Dreft detergant on her clothes.

lisar replied: With my whites it is on hot water for the first cycle and cold water for the second cycle and yes with bleach.

MyLuvBugs replied: Cold, No Bleach - I use a fabric brightener instead and spot remover if their is a stain.

ediep replied: warm wash with bleach and detergent

I wash everything in warm unless the tag says to wash with cold

MommyToAshley replied: Depending on what it is... all white linens, socks, and under garmets are washed in HOT water with bleach. I want to make sure they are clean. wink.gif

Shirts and other whites are washed in warm with no bleach.

luvmykids replied: Clothes on cold, only use bleach once in a while. Sheets, warm/cold.

Undies get a warm wash with color safe bleach.

Bee_Kay replied: I wash my whites in hot water with bleach.

My washer has this really neat setting just for whites. It's hard to explain but it does something or other just for white clothes (and it works) wink.gif

AlexsPajamaMama replied: I wash everything all together in cold water. Bleach whites very rarely. I spray Shout on just about every one of Alex's shirts before I put it in the hamper.

TheOaf66 replied: hot water and bleach if needed

KingMom replied: We set it to the "white" cycle. Change temp to HOT and add bleach!

Boo&BugsMom replied: Warm water, hot if the hubby's socks are really really really bad. I use bleach maybe once every other month. Using it too much ruins the clothes and puts holes in them.

kimberley replied: warm and oxyclean and line dried in the summer. sun is the best bleach wink.gif!

moped replied: I wash everything is cold - I use Tide Coldwater

Cece00 replied: cold water w/ bleach
