Mommy2Isabella replied: WOW!!

I must say it is great that the parents of the children are wonderfully supportive. I don't think the children have the slightest clue as to how to raise a child. I just hope that the parents aid them in understanding that it isn't just "having a cute baby" but that it is so much more than that. It is responsibilites and it cost LOTS of money to care for a baby. Im not sure what the laws are as far as age to work, but I think after school they should get jobs to help in supporting the baby as much as they can.

stella6979 replied:
I absolutely agree. thumb.gif

my2monkeyboys replied: How sad... that's such a huge responsibility for kids so young. I am glad to see the families are supporting them; they're going to need it.

Plus, the mother (of the baby) looks SO much older and bigger than the father... weird. wacko.gif laugh.gif

mummy2girls replied: wow... i just dont know what to say... He will be younger than i am now when his daughter is 18 yrs old... WOW

MoonMama replied: I am just beyond words here! ohmy.gif unsure.gif wacko.gif blink.gif

jcc64 replied: That kid is my ds' age! It sounds like everyone involved is trying to make the best of a bad situation. I hope grandma (who also looks quite young) is going to do most of the heavy lifting until the "father" grows up enough to take care of both himself and his child.

Kaitlin'smom replied: okay I cant read it, what am I missing?

MommyToAshley replied: ohmy.gif I am unable to speak as I am still sitting here like this ohmy.gif

MommyToAshley replied:
See pic below... he is the baby's father!

Crystalina replied: OH! I would sooo ground him! emlaugh.gif

It isn't funny at all but I'm glad they have a good support system. I hope he gets to continue being a kid but not with as much freedom as he apparently had! rolleyes.gif

How does he even have a gf at that age?

Kaitlin'smom replied: ohmy.gif what how old is he? how in the world? ohmy.gif how old is mom?

OMG

stella6979 replied:
He is 13 and the Mom is 15.

Boo&BugsMom replied: I have no words. I'm too stunned. Excuse me while I go put my children back in their cells. wink.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied:
he does NOT look 13! ohmy.gif OMG thats insane

DVFlyer replied: I'm stunned....

I hope the grandparents wanted another child...

ZandersMama replied: am i the only one questioning paternity? cause he doesnt look old enough or developed enough to have working sperm...............going to go lock the kids in the playroom till they are 18

Calimama replied: Soo sad. He's just a baby. sad.gif

moped replied: Has anyone ever read up on dlisted.com - they have the funniest take on this story......

I am not sure what to think about all this! unsure.gif

moped replied:
In the video she looked surprisingly confortable with the baby

aspenblue1 replied: ohmy.gif OMG I am still in shock!

msoulz replied: Oddly, words escape me right now . . . sad.gif

Kentuckychick replied: blink.gif I'm just disturbed by the whole thing really. I know it happens -- obviously, but ick. That boy will never understand what it is to be a father to that child... he's too young and clearly he's not going to be the one doing the majority of the parenting anyway.

huh.gif And is it just me or did that girl seem to know a little too much... I mean she and Alfie went to the GP without mommy... and she knew she wanted to keep the baby. Kinda makes me think of all those oprah episodes where 14-15 year old girls were trying their best to get pregnant.

There's a big difference between a 12 year old (which he was when they conceived) and a 15 year old. Sick.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I attended jr high with a girl who had 3 kids by the time she was in 8th grade (meaning she started in elementary) And she didn't stop in high school, either. The dads were all in high school. And she kept the kids. I don't know what kind of mother she was. I clearly recall several girls who wanted babies in jr high. I think I was still closet playing with Barbies at that time.

boyohboyohboy replied:
where ever your two are going, make room for the three of mine!

Boo&BugsMom replied:
I often wonder though how loose the reigns are on children like this. I mean, I know it can happen easily in high school, especially around the age when kids start driving, etc. By a certain age it can be hard to keep tabs on them 24/7. BUT 13??? I really would like to know where the parents were when this happened!!! I was NEVER allowed to be anywhere with a boy alone at this age (13 or 15), no matter where I was! If I did anything with any boy, they were at our house and my parents made dang sure we could never get away with anything. I just think back to when I was this age, and my parents made it pretty impossible for something like this to happen.

It just boggles my mind. Ok...I need to let them out of their cell for a little while to play now. wink.gif laugh.gif smile.gif I will gladly make room for your babies Stacy if they would like to join Aiden and Tanner. wink.gif laugh.gif

Kentuckychick replied: oooh... I hadn't watched the video earlier. After watching the video I'm even more disturbed by this story... I mean the girl is kissing on the boy in video (kissing his neck/shoulder... like I would my boyfriend or he me)

I tell ya right now, if those were my kids I might have to accept the fact that they were having a child together, but I sure as hades wouldn't allow them to be displaying their affections anymore.

And I was thinking about it at dinner... I probably didn't know all of the details about sex and pregnancy when I was 12/13... but by the time I was 15 I sure as heck knew EXACTLY how pregnancy occurs. I still smell something fishy here. wacko.gif

My2Beauties replied: ohmy.gif blink.gif and these are the exact expressions I made reading this story, geez! He looks soooo young! Makes me think of Des's mom she was 14 when she had Des ohmy.gif Brian was 17 and she turned 15 two weeks after Des was born he had just turned 17, .so they were barely 14 and 16 when she was conceived. sad.gif The mother of the child looks a lot older than him and it's just odd that she didn't know to use protection!!

MoonMama replied: Anyone else wonder if maybe he's not actually the father? (Unless I missed something and they somehow did a paternity test already) Just a thought.

MommyToAshley replied:
You know sometimes I think I am too over-protective of Ashley. I mean she's only 6 and I am over-protecitve of her for other reasons. But, there are people that I barely know that let their kids come over and play. It's not unlikely that this happened at one of their homes, but the kids just weren't being supervised. I don't feel so bad about my making excuses thread now.

Danalana replied: This just makes me really sad sad.gif

momofone replied: I just saw on the news that two other boys have come forward saying they can be the father ohmy.gif and it looked like the one boys nose matched the babies. ohmy.gif

HuskerMom replied: How sad. sad.gif
