He peed AGAIN!

Hillbilly Housewife wrote: growl.gif

This time, he peed on my son's Winnie the Pooh deco rug, his bedspread, the carpet, as well as all over his own pants, and a shirt Zach had on the floor in his room.

I am so livid right now... today was a bad day to begin with... sad to say that the kids are now watching the dreaded TELEVISION, and probably will from now (almost 3pm) until their mom picks em up around 4pm.

Kaitlin'smom replied: ohmy.gif OMG I woudl be livid also. Wonder why he is acting out....deffinatly time to find out or he is out of there (if thats possible)

redchief replied: Oh man! What are you going to do?

J-rod replied: how old is the kid? i presume by how mad you are he is old enough to know better.

mom2my2cuties replied: ok - I think now is the time to loose it!!!

Have you talked with his mom?? What did she say?

My next question would be - does he have some sort of medical problem???

Calimama replied: Ugh.. I would be having a long talk with his mother.

Hillbilly Housewife replied:

No. He did this last week as well, and his mom told me he does NOT have a medical problem, not even a bladder infection of some kind.

mom2my2cuties replied: Well - hmmm - Has Zach "peed" him off???? emlaugh.gif

Sorry that just struck me as funny - and I didn't mean it like that at all. But he could be acting out toward Zach if he is mad at him for something.

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
Honestly, they are together for about 2 hours total during the day, and most of it is free play... so probably, yeah. rolling_smile.gif

He sure "peed" ME off... emlaugh.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: Yikes! What does his mother make of it? Does she know of any underlying problems that may cause him to do this?

coasterqueen replied: Yikes! Well if he doesn't have a medical problem, my assumption would be that he's acting out for some reason. I definitely would talk to his mother so the two of you can get to the root of the problem. Is he having any other issues while with you? Does he do this at home at all? If not then there's something going on at your house that he's acting out about or stressed out about or something. dunno.gif

Boo&BugsMom replied: I'd be sending the little booger home! That is not tolerated. Did you punish him? I would! growl.gif

CantWait replied: ohmy.gif Oh my not again. Sorry Rocky. hug.gif

lisar replied: Sorry you have to deal with that. I would be having a nice long talk with his Mother.

jem0622 replied: That is a behavioral issue and I would ask that the mother take him to the pediatrician to talk about it and give her a timeline of when you expect a follow up on the next step. And if you are angry then he is feeding off of your anger. Not a good combination!

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
I talked to his mom about that last week... she was suppsoed to take him to the doctor's. She SAYS she did, and that he said there was nothing wrong with him, but I'm not sure she even took him to the ped's.

Yes, I am angry about this, but I try very very hard not to "be angry" around the kids. I try to stay as calm and composed as I can, so as to not let them see a reaction... kwim? So even if he's doing it in order to make me angry, he's not even getting a reaction other than me having sent him in a time-out, with his wet pants, while I cleaned it all up.

I talked again to his mom when she picked him up - I told her that if this wasn't resoved by the New Year, then I may have to request a transfer with the agency, that I can't have a child purposely urinating in my house. Accidents while potty training are normal and expected, however the chid who is potty training is carefully monitored, and not allowed in areas where stains can be made... like staying on a linoleum floor instead of a carpeted floor, you know? And plastic pants at nap time are a MUST.... with a plastic sheet under the regular sheet. I don't want pee-soaked mattresses, thank you very much... blush.gif

Anyways she said she has "no idea". But I had a long interesting talk with the agency though... there is definitely something going on at home. sleep.gif
