Has NE1 used a birthday theme for opposite sex...

coasterqueen wrote: Megan LOVES Superman. Both my girls do. Megan was Supergirl for Halloween last year.

She wants Superman for her birthday party. I thought about doing the Supergirl decorations which is the Superman ones (red, blue, yellow) but in the pink and purple color. But she doesn't seem to understand that it's superman/supergirl then if I go with the pink/purple one. Am I making any sense? wacko.gif

I guess it's not a problem going with a more "boy" theme, right? blush.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: I dont see a problem with it if thats what she wants. nothing saying a girl has to love pink and purple.

DillsMommy replied: If that's what she likes, then go for it. It'll be cute.

grandma replied: Girls can like Superman too....

luvmykids replied: I know a little girl who had a Spiderman party, personally I think it's pretty cool cool.gif

danahas4monkeys replied: I say go for it! It is her day after all!

holley79 replied: I don't see why you couldn't. I think if it makes them happy then go with it. emlaugh.gif

coasterqueen replied: I don't know why I was/am so worried about it. Megan is the most girly girl there is, but she has an infatuation with Superman. tongue.gif I don't know why either, but Dh thinks it's cool. happy.gif

holley79 replied:
Maybe she has a "super hero" crush going on. emlaugh.gif

coasterqueen replied:
laugh.gif Maybe. She loves Hawk girl just as much, though. happy.gif

Calimama replied: There's nothing wrong with it at all. wink.gif

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I would give her what she wants. Wil loves My Little Pony! laugh.gif

lisar replied: I say do the one she wants. Who cares. I would if my girls wanted it.

holley79 replied:
If it's not on Noggin I have no clue, who is Hawk girl? blush.gif

MommyToAshley replied: I agree... I don't see a problem in it, I'd give her what she wants. I always think of all these cute themes for Ashley's party, but in the end, she always wants something different and we do what she wants. laugh.gif

coasterqueen replied:
Some Justice League super hero girl. I haven't really watched the shows, but the girls have several of the JL DVD's. One time Kylie and I were looking at sunglasses and she said "those look like Hawk girl glasses". The funny thing is I thought she said "hot girl glasses" so I wouldn't let her buy them. rolling_smile.gif Dh had to explain to me that she was talking about Hawk girl and who she is. blush.gif

holley79 replied: Glad to know I'm not alone in that area. emlaugh.gif Now I'm goign to have to look for Hawk Girl and she what she is all about. emlaugh.gif

holley79 replied:
I wanted a cute little Princess theme for Annika's second birthday. When we were in the party store we walked past Sponge Bob and it was on from there. Needless to say Annika has a Sponge Bob party. blush.gif
