kit_kats_mom replied: mmmmm. We live near Plant city, a huge producer of strawberries. They even have a HUGE strawberry festival each year. I've been knoshing on strawberries for weeks. YUM!

kit_kats_mom replied: was it on biscuts or spongecake? Around these parts, they swear that it's only "real" strawberry shortcake when it's on top of a buttermilk biscut. I was raised with the spongecake type and I much prefer that. mmmm

Now I have to go to super target for berries, cake and whipped cream. grrrr
