Geez hotels are expensive!

My2Beauties wrote: DH and I were wanting to go away for the weekend our birthday weekends to this little riverboat casino in Indiana, Belterra Casino. On the weekends the rooms are $144 a night blink.gif

Calimama replied: That's a bit better than out here. blink.gif

coasterqueen replied: Yep! Tell me about it. Dh and I have been spending time in hotels lately and we have a HUGE dent in our cash flow because of it. wacko.gif

Look for packages - a lot of times you can find casino packages that make it a bit more worthwhile and even cheaper.

I hope you get to go and have fun! Dh and I have been to the casino twice the past month and we had a blast!

holley79 replied: That's about what they are a night at the casino in Biloxi.

Kaitlin'smom replied: yep they are pricy, been to that casino once it was okay, but then again casiono are really not my thing

My2Beauties replied: OMG I called the French Lick Resort casino in French Lick IN and it was $299 a night blink.gif I read the comments on travelpost.com and the comments wre awful, everyone said it was way too overpriced and the service was horrible. Gosh, I can stay in Vegas for about $79 bucks a nigh in a beautgiful hotel right onthe strip and have way more fun....geez. OK I think we'll stick with the $144 a night one! We might only be going one night though now! LOL!

Our Lil' Family replied: Yes prices are awful for good hotels. My best friend works for Hilton so I get discounts but even with my discount a room at the Embassy Suites in Hot Springs, AR would be $122/night during Thanksgiving week!

A&A'smommy replied: yeah hotels are expensive especially for a good one!!! ohmy.gif I hope you two have a blast!!! thumb.gif

MommyToAshley replied: Yes, they are expensive. We're trying to piece together a vacation for the end of this month... everything is so pricey. But, we need a break and calgon isn't going to cut it.

moped replied: Yeah - you guys would die coming here for a hotel retreat, especially in the mountains - like about $500

amynicole21 replied: Try Priceline.com... it's a little dicey because you can't pick your actual hotel, but you can select
4 star or whatever. And put in a really low price like $89 or so... you never know, they might just go for it wink.gif

Boys r us replied: I know..they are expensive!

Have a good time though!!!!

Brias3 replied: That's a LOT better than here too. I can't remember the last time we stayed in a hotel for less than $200 a night dry.gif

mom2patrick&jalin replied: Last summer I was able to get two hotel rooms in Pittsburg, PA. I used priceline.com and for two rooms at the Doubletree Inn we paid $50 a piece. OMG that place is great and it was even better for $50.

luvmykids replied: I like expedia.com, DH's golf tournaments are always at really pricey resorts and I can usually book his room at the same place for about half of what his buddies pay, even with their tournament discounts thumb.gif

Hope you guys have a great time though wub.gif
