I'm a fatty....guess I always will be. I hate this plateau...someone help me get OVER it!!!
Kaitlin'smom replied: hay I am right there with you. I stayed the same, cousre my excuses is I am bloated as AF is on her way in, other wise I mgiht have been a looser.
BTW your NOT fat your HOT.
ammommy replied: I feel your pain. How long have you been stuck?
coasterqueen replied: Well sounds like we are all together on this. That's at least got to be good we're not alone, right? I lost a whopping.....are you ready for this????
0.2 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, excited, huh? But I have to give my good old excuse of I'm ovulating and Megan didn't nurse this morning before I weighed so my bb's were pretty full. Otherwise I think I would have been at least 1/2 a pound if not a pound.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: OH Aimee...you're NOT a fatty! Remember you could be hitting a plateau because you are gaining more muscle and losing fat, kwim? So muscle weighs more than fat, so that's got to be it!!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: AF is here, but I've been the same for the past few weeks. I'm definetly bloated....I'm hoping it will go away before the weekend.
coasterqueen replied: ((HUGS)) hope it does too. What about taking water pills?
MyLuvBugs replied: Oh sweetie!! You are SOOO not a fatty. You'll get through the plateau. We all have them. maybe try putting in a couple extra walks this week. That might help.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: What do water pills do? I've heard of them, but I have no clue what they do.
TANNER'S MOM replied: Oh girl you are perfect... think you are doing so good. My inspiration!
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Actually drinking more water is probably a better solution than taking water pills. Diuretics get rid of the water retention but then your body just re-stocks it so you have to keep taking them. But drinking more water will flush everything out - your body retains water when it thinks it's getting dehydrated.
There Mel your post on H2O didn't go to waste - I learned half of that from it!
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Oh and Aimee you are NOT a fatty!!! Don't throw in the towel yet either - what Rae said about gaining muscle is true - plus everyone gets stuck sometimes - don't give up you're my motivation!
ammommy replied: Since it's been a couple of weeks, I'd try mixing up what you are eating both in quantity and selection. It sounds strange, but you may want to eat more than you normally would for a few days. I don't know why it works, but it does for many people. It's almost like your body goes into hibernation mode once you are on a routine with food and exercise. Changing it up a bit can kick start your metabolism. Just eat smartly It's worth a shot. Hang in there, and drink more water if you can.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: ITA. If you stick to the same workout routine or eat the same meal every day (which I don't know if you are) you'll hit a plateau. Changing it up, like doing yoga one day and strength training next and aerobics another will help. I bet once AF comes, the bloating will go down. And I wouldn't take any sortof pill right before your big weekend just in case you get a strange reaction from them somehow, kwim? Gosh that last senstence sounded like my mother!!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: LOL I was thinking the EXACT same thing. I'm not big on taking pills anyway. Even though I'm sure they are safe...I just don't want to take any chances.
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Oh Aimee-I know that sucks but I have been meaning to post a note to you because you look AWESOME in your siggy! Don't give up or get discouraged you look really great!
