First day of First Grade!

mom21kid2dogs replied: The bookbag is a cheapie from WalMart. I couldn't convince her it wouldn't last the school year.

The dog belongs to our Parish Priest. He doesn't go anywhere with out her. It's kinda cute. Parker (our dog) generally goes but he gets so excited about all the kids he pulls like a banshee! He'll show up for pickup duty tonight!

Megan has that same bookbag. Wal-mart $9.98 (or something close). Meg starts 2nd on Wed. She is so excited. Hope she has a great first day back.

Jamison'smama replied: Oh good heavens Cheryl, she is so beautiful! You can tell by the picture. she just strutted right into the school building. It is amazing how much difference a year makes, did she grow her bangs out over the summer, I think it makes her look more grown up.

She loved it 'cause I had all the homework~about 10 pages to fill out & return O says 1st grade is way different that kindergarten because you have to "focus on your work all day". The teacher also sent home a "warning" letter letting us know starting next week she'll have 20-30 minutes of homework a night. So not looking forward to that very much.

Oh the evil bangs, Brenda!! Yes, she decided over the summer that she wants her hair to grow long with no more bangs. Apparently this fits her whole "Hanna Montana" montage better. Her hair is insanely thick and, because she virtually no hair until 3, she hates to have it messed with. Not enjoying the battles over this very much!

Does Jamison go to Kindy this year? I've been thinking about you and I couldn't remember if she went this year if you didn't move or not.

Yes, she starts K this year in the lovely state of Ohio---we have officially taken the house off the market for this year... She has her testing on Friday and starts next week. Oh man, just typing that is hard!
