I thought I had felt something in the past, but had my doubts. I am certain that it was real this time....I remember the feeling well. baby.gif

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Oh the first flutter. I love the first flutter. wub.gif All of those flutters were the best part of being pg for me.

MomToMany replied: wub.gif That's great! I've felt tiny flutters, too, but no one believes me; they say it's too early, but I know better. This is #5 for me, so I know the feeling pretty good by now wub.gif .

Hillbilly Housewife replied: How far are you again? (pg brain..sowwy...)

I was 14 weeks when I felt it with Zach. My doctor said it wasn't likely, it was probably gas bubbles. Well I had an ultrasound a few days later - and I told the tech I could feel the baby move, and about my conversation with the docotr. She went to get the doctor to do a little test - I'd turn away from the screen, and everytime I felt the baby move, I'd tell them...they'd confirm or deny with the movements on the screen.

Sure enough, I was feeling little kicks! wink.gif

This time around, I was 20 weeks when I felt the baby move for the first time. Now I'm 25 weeks, and I can only feel it after I eat or when I go to sleep. Other than that... I don't feel it.

Isn't it amazing though? wub.gif

ediep replied: thats great! I loved those flutters. It was so special when the flutters were so slight that DH couldn't even feel them from the outside. Soon enough he gets to feel the kick and jabs!

I am 12w4d today. I didn't remember feeling flutters this early with Maddie, but then again I didn't know what to expect, either. This wasn't gas....I will admit I have had gas bubbles, but this was a flutter. It was definetly different...I haven't felt it since. But, it is so sweet to know there is a baby in there swimming around. I can't wait for DH and DD to feel those kicks.

supermom replied: That is so wonderful to feel that for the first time, and every other time thereafter..........awesome!

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Awesome!

DH still has trouble feeling the baby kick. I'm well padded, but I'm not THAT well padded... I can still sorta feel my ribs!!! Hehe heh!!!
