Father's Day

Ryan is getting his every year usual 5 or 6 new golf shirts, lol. He gets them every year this time. He LOVES the golf shirts to wear to work as they have that "fast dry" material since he sweats so easy. He also got a new tow chain he said he HAD to have, lol. Then the camper is our joint gift(s) this year. Oh and while we were shopping this past week at my meeting, Megan picked up daddy a new St. L. Cardinal coffee mug. Kylie bailed on the shopping as we had to walk in the pouring rain, but my little bit was determined to find something for daddy.

I got my dad his usual golf shirt and golf balls and will get him his usual golf certificate. My gramps is getting his usual golf shirt.

I know, so unoriginal, but I never know what to get them.

We are going over to my parents for FD to celebrate that and an early bday to my gramps whose birthday is on the 4th of July. We miss his birthday party every year as we are out of town for my neice's birthday then.

youngmomofone replied: My dad is getting a card, and dh has been out of town for reserves training since last weekend and will be gone til next weekend so he will miss FD. He's going to either get his computer fixed or a brand new one later on though.

mom21kid2dogs replied: Stephen's getting a new, really nice bike helmet so I don't have to listen to him whine about his old, ugly one! A Brandon Heath CD and a cool tie die shirt O picked out at the Washboard Festival downtown this AM. The shirt is OSU colors. I'm so gonna steal it!

Our Lil' Family replied: DH wanted new tennis shoes for work. He also got a sign to hang in the garage that looks like a DOTD sign and says Reserved for Daddy's Jeep. Thomas had made him a thing at school, questions about dad, so he's getting that too.

My dad is getting a cooler, he has one he loves that he wants a smaller version of for his boat. FIL is getting a coffee mug that says "We're hooked on Pappy" with all the grandkids' names on a hook.

my2monkeyboys replied: Will bought DH an AC/DC shirt and a small pocket knife, I picked out a Volbeat CD and live concert DVD, and we're getting him a homemade blueberry cobbler from a restaurant in town that he loves.
My dad got some ring-neck pheasant chicks.
His dad will probably get some of that cobbler... he's 83 and in a nursing home right now so he doesn't need/use much of anything. I thought last night that I wish I could print him out a good picture of the boys but our printer is out of ink!

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Well G isn't the kids' "step-father"... but sunday morning the 2 girls surprised us by being very quiet when they woke up.. and they made him father's day cards.

He cried.
