Does anyone know what sex they are having? - Anyone have a hunch?

Mommy2M wrote: I saw my jumping bean today at 13 weeks on ultrsound and i must say that this baby is WAYYYYYYYY more active than Miss Meadow was. I have a strange hunch that this baby is a boy. I have had next to no morning sickness, when with Meadow it was All day, every meal sickness. I was put on suppositories because i was throwing up so bad till 8 months. Anyone else have a hunch?? I had a hunch with MEadow that she was a girl right from the begining and she was. I just dont know what i will do with a boy, all we have in our family is little girls. I think i am a little scared of the thought of having a boy, LOL

MommyToAshley replied: I kind of knew with Ashley too, and like you I was sick all the time with her. SOOOO, maybe your hunch is right. Are you going to find out the sex or do you want to be surprised?

alice&arik replied: I thought i was having a girl because I wanted one so bad. And they told me I was having a girl to from the ultrasound. WEll I had a boy. So my hunches are off a little bit. His dad told me when I got pregnant that i was going to have a boy, so maybe I should have listened to him, I would have saved some money! happy.gif

Mommy2M replied:
OMG, Were you freaked out when a boy came out??? That can mess a woman up bad with the hormones she is having all ready after birth!!! My OB doesnt like to tell anyone what they are having, he leaves that to the level 2 ultrasound group. He will ONLY tell if he sees that "area" clear for a good few moments! I told him today that i thought it was a boy during the sonogram, and he replied with, Well, you have a 50/50 chance, LOL (smarty pants)

Mom2Boyz replied: When I was pg with Conner I "just" knew he was a boy. When we went for the 3d u/s, the tech says "Looks like you have a little girl there", I was like ok, but I was sure it's a boy. So she says I'll check again before I finish. Sure enough the second time she checked, he was laying there spread eagle, not hiding ANYTHING. She just laughed, and said that 90% of the u/s that she does, the mothers intuition is right.
I hope you get to find out what you're having!!! I know I'd have died if I'd had to wait til he was born tongue.gif

MomToMany replied: My hunches were always wrong! I found out with all of the boys (the u/s's were right). With the girls, we didn't want to know. I thought they were going to be boys, but I was wrong again!

I liked the surprise of not knowing; it gives you a lot to think and dream about wub.gif !

jem0622 replied: I had bad m/s with my birthdaughter. I had none with Nathan or Gabe. I have some nausea with these twinkies. If I eat then the nausea usually goes away.

I did not have gender dreams with any of my kids but my mom had one with my birthdaughter. She was right on the money too. When people asked me what I thought I was having with Nathan I told them I thought it was a boy. With Gabe we found out.

I did have a dream with this pregnancy that I had an ultrasound and it was a girl and I called my mom crying to tell her. And driving home from my shocking u/s the names Ella and Ruby popped into my head. LOL. Ruby was my great gma's name. I love it. But don't know what DH thinks. LOL. So we'll see!

I do run the risk of knowing only one of the genders b/c they like to hide and if you don't get a good look then it's just a big question mark!

alice&arik replied:
Yes I was pretty freaked out. I asked the doc how "she" was and he looked at me funny and said "it's a boy" I must not have heard the announcment of "his" arrival the first time. When I heard that I was like "WHAT?" The 2 nurses and the doc said they wished they had a camera for my reaction. It took me most of that day to call him "him" instead of "her". And when my friend was video taping she asked what I named him...I said"Arika Harley....." I named him Arik Harley. Arika was what i picked out for a girl. And I had to get rid of all of the girl clothes I had and go buy boy clothes. rolleyes.gif

coasterqueen replied: Dh and I thought that we were having a boy for the longest time. We decided on his name, what his room would look like, everything. Then we had our ultrasound and they told us *he* was a *she*. tongue.gif We were sure taken back but very happy wub.gif.

DH thought in the back of his head that she would be a girl just because he knew he wanted a boy really bad, lol. But he's so happy to have a girl. wub.gif

So I'd say our hunch was off too, lol.

Note though, we thought Kylie was a boy because she was VERY ACTIVE. It turned out that her hyperactivity was due to the fact that she's a spirited child wink.gif.

jem0622 replied:

My birthdaughter was very active too and the OB swore she was a boy. LOL.

Mommy2M replied:
I am new to this board and i was wondering if i could ask what bmom and kmom means? I have never seen those before and have NO clue what it is. Thanks..

Char Lee replied: I cant wait to hear what I am having. Everyone tells me I should wait but I cant. I can barely wait for surprises. I would really love to have a little girl. I went to a spirtualist and she perdicted I would have a girl first. So cross your fingers. If this would be my only baby then I would want a girl not that boys arent fun. I would still love a boy.

kimberley replied: all of my pg's have been different and the only one i guessed right was the first, Jacob.

i had a good pg with Jacob except for horrible heartburn in the end.
i had a nauseous pg with James and could only eat bland food.
i had every symptom under the sun with Jade lol (except hemmeroids)

so you never can tell. i hope you get what you are wishing for.

A&A'smommy replied: I think I was 8wks pg when I asked dh (fiancee then) what he wanted and he didn't even blink when he said girl lol he KNEW we were having a girl we picked out a boy name because I wanted to rolling_smile.gif

kit_kats_mom replied: None... sad.gif

Oh wait, you aren't asking about the sex I'm having, you want to know the baby's sex? ROFLMBO ohmy.gif rolling_smile.gif

I'm thinking boy since there seems to be a rash of em lately amongst friends and family of mine. Plus the hair on my legs is growing at a rapid rate and I'm much sicker this time than when I was pregnant with K.

Char Lee replied:
Well if I go by your prediction I hope the lack of hair growth will help me too have agirl. LLOL sunflower.gif

sunrosejenn replied: I REALLY want a girl but have a feeling it's a boy....morning sickness was mild and never vomited....having my 1 & only u/s June 15 @ 16wks....might get to know then if baby cooperates.

Elle replied: Let's see...

Baby 1: I had a strong feeling it was going to be a girl, and I was so right!
Baby 2: I thought it was a boy. Wrong this time. But she's such a tomboy that now I know why I had the feeling she was going to be a boy! rolling_smile.gif
Baby 3: I hadn't any feelings, but Nat insisted we were going to have another girl. Wrong!
Babies 4 & 5: I felt they were girl & boy, and I got it right again!

So that's 3 out of 5. Pretty good LOL rolling_smile.gif

Edward's Mommy replied: When I went to the doctor to find out if I was preg, my doctor asked me "Do you have your own feelings of what you're having?" and I told her that I thought it was a boy. I was right!

CAMSMOM1 replied: Wow...this is an old post! emlaugh.gif
