Do your kids say things that remind you of...

I always say "Don't waste my time", and today DH was talking to Emily. DH can take about an hour to get to the point, and as usual he was taking for ever. Half way through Emily looked at him and said "Don't waste my time, Daddy", DH looked at her, then at me and said "She sounded exactly like you".

One day, after a long day at Six flags, Jason was napping on the couch. DH picked him up because we were going to my parents house for dinner. Jason woke up and I said "are you read to go to Mima's and Pop's for dinner?" He looks at me with his eyebrows really serious and said "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"
DH and I both lost it!!!

amymom replied: Funny, my DD says things my mother used to say. I still can't figure out where they come from. My mom passed away two years before dd was born. Maybe I say them and don't hear myself. idontknow.gif

boyohboyohboy replied: the other day when my dh husband came home from work, i was making a nice dinner and actually settting it on the table, when he came in the front door and placed his lunch box and hat and mail right in the middle of the table! i jokingly said, man when you do that it makes me so mad my head could spin...

later that day, jake was getting into things and caleb said to me, mom could you get so mad at jake that your head could spin???

mckayleesmom replied: Mckaylee picks up everything....I constantly hear her saying them to Russell.

If the kids whine for no reason...I always tell them to knock it off because its not neccessary. Russell can actually be hurt and Mckaylee will be standing there telling him to stop crying because its not necessary. rolling_smile.gif

I don't know where she heard FOR GOODNESS SAKES, but whenever someone sneezes.....she gets that confused with God Bless You.......So when someone sneezes she says " for goodness sakes" and she says it with this pissy attitude like the person could have helped themselves from sneezing.

mom2my2cuties replied: Ok - Mckaylee sounds like she is a true hoot to be around smile.gif

Andy does but i can't think right off the top of my head what they are.

luvmykids replied: I love it...for a long time when someone asked Colt a question he'd say "You know it" (got that one from dad) and if you tell Kylie something she says "For real?!"

I love the words Macie is using too, she says stuff is delicious or fantastic or wonderful rolling_smile.gif

luvbug00 replied: Mya does alot of stuff we do but Brad when irritated says "OH COME ON!" and when i forget to do things Mya will say "OH COME ONNNNN" rolleyes.gif

mckayleesmom replied:
Mckaylee is like Macie.......She says...."its delicious"...."its beautiful"..."its so gorgeous"....."thats DIGUSTING"....that is how she says Disgusting. rolling_smile.gif

luvmykids replied:
emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif It cracks me up!

They picked up a not so good one but it wasn't from me...Kylie called Colt a "Gut sand suck of a hitch" blush.gif I'll let you all translate. I think it came from a western that I didn't screen well enough blush.gif

DillsMommy replied: The other morning, Dylan and I were talking and out of nowhere he says "Dylans not here, leave a message" I couldn't stop laughing, I have no idea where it came from though.. not somthing I say. huh.gif rolling_smile.gif

PrairieMom replied: The Boy told me the other day "Were having issues huh Dommy?" rolling_smile.gif
"having issues" is something I say ALL the time. rolleyes.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: oh ya, sometimes they crack me up others well not so much. Her favorite right now is OH SHOOT I/WE/YOU forgot (whatever). when you tell her nope its or I did it, she will ack genuily supprised and say 'OHhh'.

TANNER'S MOM replied: Well this kind of Tee's me off when he does this..
But when I am working on something.. like lets say a horse is out the fence is down.. Randy is gone.. and I am left to fix it. Tanner will stand there hands on his hips and give me exact instrutctions as to how his dad would do it.

Or say I am feeding he will say.. Humm dad feeds that horse this much .. and not what you gave them. But then there are moments when I have come to like that ..like when I couldn't get the lawn mower started and I said Tanner how does start the mower.. he said you have to use the choke mom.. and then he showed me where it was..lol

Brittany has mannerism that are exactly the way her dad was. It usually comes out when I don't want it too..but when we argue she argues just like her dad..

What was it Tiffany said the other day it was all wrong.. let me think.. Oh I remember..Tiffany said Tanner is the splitting image of Dad.. and I got tickled and I said Spitting image of Dad..she no..my Mom says Splitting..lol

I couldn't help but laugh. T

anner tries to tell me how to drive like his dad too.. just ask Abbie..

Kaitlin'smom replied: oh ya thanks for the rimder Mel, Kait is tring to be a backseat driver.....I get so annoyed with this. I also will hear her say "MOVE IT" to the other cars laugh.gif

TheOaf66 replied: Tanner always picks up phrases that we use over and over and don't realize it
