Do you eat pie with cheese?

I love apples and cheese. The sweetness and saltiness go very well together, as does cheese and grapes. That's where the expression "wine and cheese" came... or for a whiny person... "you want some cheese to go with your whine?"

Then again, I like having cheddar cheese when I eat chocolate, sooo....

Just to clarify - Apple pie is the ONLY pie that should be eaten with Cheese - and it HAS to be the block style sharp cheddar to get the correct effect.

And it's not bad - if you haven't tried it - you would be surprised at how well the flavors actually meld together.

I still like those, and I make them for my kids too. DH thinks just the thought of them is disgusting...

I also eat onion and mustard toasted sandwiches, as well as pickle and cheese sandwiches.
