MyLuvBugs wrote: I'm just curious. We live in an apartment, and I'm so sick of apartment living. I soooooo want our own home it's just not even funny. sleep.gif

Liz_Kaitlyns_Mama replied: We rent a two bedroom house. $500 a month. It SUCKS. mad.gif

AlexsPajamaMama replied: 2 bedroom apartment

Its right in the middle of town, close to all the stores and 10 mins away from DH's work. There are many buildings in our complex so its like we are in our own little neighborhood with sort of private roads. We have grass to play in, a duck pond near by, and its quiet and not right near the busy streets. I really like it hear!

moped replied: We live in a 2 story house, built 2.5 years ago, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2000 sq ft house........regular run of the mill kind of house

amymom replied: We live in a big, old built about 150 yrs ago, Victorian. You can see it by clicking on my name. It is big 6 BRs 11 rooms all together and somedays I hate it and some days I do not. tongue.gif

b&bsmom replied: We live in a mobile home that we have soooo outgrown. It has 3bdrms and 2baths and was nice in the beginning now however I want this one we have looked at for almost 4yrs now it is double the size we have now and it has 4bdrms 2baths ,lr,dr,fm,kitchen and a bonus room. We have the chance to get this home right now but we really can't afford it although our park might be bought out.......

mckayleesmom replied: We live in base housing....basically an apartment/townhouse. Its 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room, dining room, kitchen, and basement.

1lilpeanut2love replied: We rent!! We live in a duplex. It's nice but it's so far away from everything and everybody! My SO is 100 miles from work. We are thinking about moving in August! We pay $850 for a two bed/1 bath place! We only have one person next door!

MyLuvBugs replied:
That's less that what we're paying for our 2 bd 2 bath apt. sad.gif $750. That's like a house payment for some people.

luvbug00 replied: apartment..

mummy2girls replied:

PrairieMom replied:
We paid 775 for our 2 bed two bath apt too. But I suppose its what you acutally GET for $500. is it a decient place?

We own our 4 bed 3 bath home.

PrairieMom replied:
Thats just crazy. Move here. you can have a decient house for that. A nice newly built middle class house in a new neighborhood, probably with sprinkler system, fence and finished basment!

b&bsmom replied: I need to move there houses around here the average house anymore (which are kinda big) start in the high 300's Good luck finding houses around here below 400. It is crazy. That is why we live in a mobile home.

3xsthefun replied: We live in a mobile home that we payed off 2 years ago.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Condo - 850$ a month, including the morgage, the condo fees and property taxes. It's a house that my grandmother owns. emlaugh.gif

MissyKay2005 replied: We live in a half house and we rent. We are also so ready to own a home. It would be nice to have a house to make the way we want it. biggrin.gif It is almost impossible for a one working parent home to be able to afford to buy a house here so it will be a while until this will happen for us.

Kaitlin'smom replied: We have a home we bought in 99. We are going to stat cleaning up up and sell it to move more south of town closer to Kaits school and my work. I just dont knwo when it will happen. We need/want a bigger place.

Liz_Kaitlyns_Mama replied:
Sorry - I just noticed this! Our house is nice. We live in a very nice neighborhood. Our house is 2 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen, living room, dining room and basement. We have a backporch & fenced in backyard plus a good sized front yard and 1-car garage. I guess I should be grateful for our rent?? My mom is always telling me, "Don't move!! You have the cheapest rent in Auburn!!"

Ashlynn's Mommy replied: We live in an apartment too, and I also hate it. And the worst part is, we rent from my inlaws. banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif

ashtonsmama replied:
Seriously! You should be PRAISING the house gods for that rent! Good Lord.

Lucky woman! My sister rents in NYC (it's a 3 BR, 3 bath, with really nice furnishings and 3 fireplaces, etc. so it should cost more) Manhattan apartment type of deal, and it costs them $13, 000 A MONTH. We're lucky (my ILs bought us our house) but we still have our mortgage to contend with, and that brings our monthly bills up a ton, but I'm not complaining. We're very blessed.
