Did you put your kids to bed earlier?

mysweetpeasWil&Wes wrote: Because of the time change?? I didn't think about this until about five minutes ago. Wil usually goes down at 8pm, but both him and I are tired now at 7pm...so I just put him down. I'm hoping it works!

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: Sunday night I couldn't help it...Matt passed out about 5:30 and nothing could have gotten him up. Infact he was out cold until about 6:00 the next morning. I have been trying to keep them up until regular bed time (7:00) but as soon as the sun goes down they are so grouchy.
So to answer your question yes they have gone to bed earlier but I am trying to get them to go to bed at regular time.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Well my little trick didn't work. I figured his body would still say 8pm although the clock said 7pm...but NOPE! Smarty pants! He cried so hard...and then DH got home and it was wild boy around the living room for another hour and a half! He's down now, but I guess earlier didn't work. mad.gif

mummy2girls replied: the time change does not affect jenna at all. not matter if its spring ahead or fall back she is in bed at 730 no matter what ... LOL..i have her trained good:)

ediep replied: we had a busy weekend, but Jason went to bed at normal time....he has been getting up an hour earlier now though sad.gif

booey2 replied: Both boys zonked out earlier than normal and they are still doing it.

Kaitlin'smom replied: nope same time by 8:30p she did wake up at 7am this moring, instead of me getting her up at 7:30a

coasterqueen replied:
Same here. The girls have always gone to bed at 7:30 (Kylie is not necessarily asleep by then) and they are still doing that w/the time change but both of them are up at 4:00 am or 5:00 am because they would either wake up at 5 or 6 am before the time change.

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Wow I must put Mackenzie to bed really late compared to everyone else! Her bed time is 9:00, but she is usually out by 8:30. I put her to bed the same time Sunday night, but she is getting up earlier in the morning. She used to get up between 7:30 or 8:00 but now she is getting up at 6:30 or 7:00. wacko.gif

mckayleesmom replied: Both my kids go to bed strictly at 7.....So actually they are going to bed at 6 , which is fine because Russell usually barely makes it to 7 before the time change...hes usually ready to go and practically begging me to go nite nite. Mckaylee has been going to sleep right away too....so Im thinking they will adjust...Now they are getting up at 8 instead of 9...but thats ok too...because then I get up and get breakfast done and out of the way at a reasonable time.

Boys r us replied: No, my kids are going to bed the sametime. I think it's important to keep them on the same routine for their little bodies.

My2Beauties replied: I'm so awful, Hanna has no bedtime at all blush.gif When she acts sleepy I put her butt in bed, it's normally around the same time every night give or take an hour or so though! blush.gif
