Dh just called.... - i feel so bad for this family

SOUTHERN MOMMY wrote: He has been at the hospital since about 3:30 and he has not called so i was getting upset then he called and OMG do i feel like a hill if you know what i mean there is this patient of his that was preggo with twins and due anyday This is her second pregnacy the first ended with the baby dying around 7 months or so ( not his patient then) well she went into labor this afternoon and called and said her water had broke he told her to go to the hospital ASAP well, two hours later she shows up well baby one was dead so he rushed her back for a c-section to try and save the second baby well, he did and the baby is doing great thank God for that but, she was bleeding really bad and had to have a complete historectomy and from whaT i understand they wanted more kids i feel so bad for that family but at least they have that one baby i know that it will not replace the other two but thank god they have him please keep this family in your prayers God knows they could use it right now and i think even though we don't usually do this i will send some flowers or something tomorrow. DH is on his way home now and he is so upset he was crying when i talked to him

MM'sMama replied: Oh my gosh that is so sad that poor family but at lest that have their little boy. But still I know this must be very hard for them I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers I wish I could give them all a big hug right now.

....sorry to ask but.... why did it take two hours for her to get to the hospital when the doc said ASAP? Was that the soonest she could get there? I am just curious. Sorry to ask.

Her exact words when she called were i need some things from wal-mart before i go to the hospital Omg you know she feels bad now

not exactly but he said there was no cord around the neck or anything he said that the sac of water broke on the first baby but not the second and there was no fluid what so ever in the sac with baby one which is not normal but other than that no idea what happened she was in the office 4 hours before her waher broke and they did a stress test and everything was fine.Dh thinks that if she would have came strait in that the baby would have lived but, you never know

mummy2girls replied: That is so sad. The pain of losing a child and then having that miracle baby then finding out you cant have any..man that would be painful for any mother! I am so sorry your hubby had to go through that all. that must be hard! I will keep her in my prayers!
