Dang it!

MyBrownEyedBoy wrote: Logan definately has a peanut allergy. His peanut test was more positive than the positive control. However, he squirmed so much that the cat, dog and guinea pig spots blurred together before we could get them pricked so we have to go back and repeat those. Crud.

MoonMama replied: sad.gif I'm so sorry sweetie that stinks in a big way! hug.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: sad.gif poor guy, sorry to hear that

CantWait replied: Sorry Kelly. Doesn't sound fun at all. sad.gif

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: It wasn't. He was very uncooperative and everytime the doctor came anywhere near him he yelled, "Don't want this!" blush.gif He's so two.

stella6979 replied: Awww....poor little guy.
I had my nephew over for a sleepover last weekend and I was lucky enough to find out he's allergic to walnuts. dry.gif

3xsthefun replied: I'm so sorry to hear that. hug.gif

holley79 replied: hug.gif I'm sorry sweetie. Do all kids get a peanut allergy test?

amynicole21 replied: Oh man. That stinks! sad.gif

Celestrina replied: Poor kid. My babysitter's son is allergic too. I feel so bad for him at Halloween because it's so limited what candy he can eat.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied:
No only if your child has a reaction of some sort.

holley79 replied:
Oh ok. We wait till they are 3 before we introduce peanuts right?

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: It's supposed to be 3 if there's a history of allergies. Most kids can be introduced to them sooner. Small amounts and watch. The biggest danger with peanut butter is choking because it's so sticky.

MommyToAshley replied: Oh that stinks, sorry. I've been hearing a lot about peanut allergies, it seems like a lot more kids are having allergies to peanuts. Several kids in Ashley's class have peanut allergies (same last year). Or maybe I am just hearing about it more since most places are more accomodating now?

DillsMommy replied: Sorry to hear that. sad.gif

MyBrownEyedBoy replied:
I'm not sure either, Dee Dee. I do know that I didn't go to school with one kid who was allergic to peanuts and now it seems like everyone knows someone who is allergic. It totally stinks. I love, and I mean LOVE, peanut butter.

luvmykids replied: hug.gif I'm sorry about the allergy and that you have to go through the tests again...hugs to both of you.
