Our Lil' Family wrote: WOW, this is really sinking in...he's halfway through school!! He just left for the hospital for orientation and his first shift is tomorrow 6a-6p!!! Here's a pic of my handsome future PA!!
PS) He'd probably DIE if he knew I was posting this!!
sparkys2boys replied: That is soooo great for you guys!! He looks like he is beaming!! You must be very proud of him!!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Good for him, Naomi!!!! He's so handsome Am I allowed to say that as your friend?
mckayleesmom replied: He looks very handsome in his uniform....He looks really excited too. Its nice that he is passionate about his career choice.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Best wishes to him! He is very handsome.
Our Lil' Family replied: Sure Aimee....I think Scotty is handsome too! It's flattering actually! Thank you all for saying that!!!
Thursday was his first day, it wasn't great but that's because he was with a less than warm and friendly attending physician. But yesterday he had a GREAT attending and he actually saw a lot more patients on his own!!! He LOVES the ER guys....what am I going to do? One of the main reasons for him going back to school was to get out of shift work and into a practice.....AAAHHH! I don't want him working holidays and weekends anymore....but how do I snuff out what he loves?
amymom replied: Oh give him time to experience all the different clinicals. He may enjoy the office type work more.
I am glad that he is enjoying what he is doing.
Our Lil' Family replied: True, very true. I guess I'm jumping the gun, he did say how he forgot how hard 12 hour shifts were!!!
gr33n3y3z replied: Very good I'm so happy for your family and he looks very happy and handsome in that pic also. Good luck to him
A&A'smommy replied: awwww thats awesome and your son looks SOOOO much like him!!!
JadensMama05 replied: Awesome for you guys!! Yeah he definitely looks excited. That's so cool. Glad he loves his work. I wish all doctors did.. We've been experiences some really a-holes lately! Good luck with the holidays and such. Hopefully soon it'll all come back to him.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I hope (and pray) that he has a better experience in an office. Those physicians can be pretty arrogant (I should know...I worked for plenty of them ) But I hope he can get in with the right one. I think the ER is probably way more exciting.
mom2my2cuties replied: What about something like Urgent Care? A friend of mine once told me his Urgent Care work was much like the ER work he did before, without a lot of the same "odd" hours.
