mckayleesmom wrote: Ok I have decided that Mckaylee is going to be a butterfly for holloween,,,,At Old Navy they have the cutest wings and headbands for a butterfly in purple. I am going to buy her a purple pair of striped or flowered pj's and that will be her costume...the wings are like 10.00,,,and the headband is 6.50....They also have a butterfly costume in black and orange. What is everyone elses baby going as?

MommyToAshley replied: I haven't decided what Ashley is going to be yet. I might take her to the store and let her pick it out.

DansMom replied:
Daniel's cousin John was a December baby (five years ago), and since Daniel is a November baby, we were lucky enough to inherit all of Johnny's old slightly used clothes, including costumes: each year's costume should fit, since Johnny was the same age in the same season. The first year costume is a bumble-bee outfit. Daniel's so long and thin he'll look more like a wasp or hornet!! laugh.gif

I know: simple question, long answer. biggrin.gif

amynicole21 replied: I just received the costume I ordered on babystyle.com for Sophia. She's going to be a little china doll in a kimono. It's sort of long... don't know if it will fit her that well. But she'll look soooo pretty in it wub.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied:
ooo she will look soo cute, I cant waite to see a picture of her in that!

as for me I have not clue, I had bought a belle costume at the disney store when it closed but I think it will be to big. If she can fit it then Belle if not guess we will have to go shopping.

ediep replied: Jason is going to be a spider!!

kit_kats_mom replied: Katherine will be an elf if I can get a break from work to make the costume. Everyone says she looks like a little elf. wub.gif

MommyToAshley replied:
LOL...she does. hehe. emlaugh.gif

3xsthefun replied: I really haven't decided yet. We need to look at the costumes I may let her pick it out this year.

CantWait replied: I really wanna dress Anthony up in something cute, but I'm not sure there are costumes out that size. Robbie is going as a ninja this year, I'm sure it'll change in a week though.

mckayleesmom replied: cantwait...they have little costumes for infants..They are more like pj's but they work. Do you have a koals near you? they usually have them. I bought my friend a girraffe outfit for her baby shower and she gave birth in early october and he was able to wear it.

supermom replied: I know our local Wal-Mart carries costumes for infants - we've just got to get up there and take a look at what they've got. So far Anders has wanted to be a vampire, a dragon (from last year's costume), a werewolf, and a skeleton - LAUGH - so his changes daily. Once we get to looking, though, I am sure he'll find something that he really likes.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Claudia got a Monkey costume from her aunty and uncle for her birthday! It's really cute, but really big! I'm sure it will be okay and she will look really cute!

Mommieto2Girls replied: I have no clue what Maddie will be, as soon as I go shopping and buy it I will let yall know. smile.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Maddie says she wants to be a princess. I started a princess costume for her last year, but she refused to wear it and ended up being a bunny. Still cute. Since she is stuck on a princess this year I guess I will finish that costume. tongue.gif Oh, what we do for our kids!

dolfinrse replied: WE still have to decide what Zack is going to be for Halloween.

MommyToAshley replied:
You mean he isn't going to be the HULK? wink.gif

supermom replied:
LOL - Nope, at least he hasn't mentioned that one!

CantWait replied: I'll have to check Walmart, I don't have a Koals near me, haven't even heard of it wink.gif Speaking of Hulk, I'm surprised Robbie hasn't mentioned that one either. LOL I'm sure DH would love if he went out like that.

coasterqueen replied: The other day at Walmart I bought a little Halloween outfit just for Kylie to wear at the siter that day. It's just a pair of orange leggings with bats, pumpkins and ghosts on it and the shirt is white with a pumpkin on it. Also, I bought her a pair of cute little cat ears, it's a head band.

Anyways, that's not her costume, but she looked so darn cute in the cat ears, DH and I have decided that since she loves kitty cats, she's going to be a black cat. We are going to buy her black leggings and a long sleeve black shirt, black shoes and hopefully I can make a tail. Then we'll just paint some whiskers and a nose on her. I hope it turns out cute, I really want to get halloween photos done of her.

If not I might be rushing out somewhere to get something else. blink.gif

mckayleesmom replied: They sell tails places,,,you can just sew it on...I had one a couple years ago.

chloe&tysmommy replied: I still haven't decided yet...once the halloween stuff starts coming out I'll check what they have and go from there happy.gif

kit_kats_mom replied:
I went as a cat one year and I was in a cash crunch. I just cut one leg off of a pair of tights (a black knee hi or sock would probaby work for a baby), stuffed it with toilet paper & pinned it to my outfit. rolling_smile.gif

coasterqueen replied:
I saw those on ebay. I am going to try to find a tail in the stores, if I see one I might buy it.

coasterqueen replied:
Thanks for the tip! This might be my alternative if I can't find a tail in the store. Dh and I were talking last night and we both determined I probably would not succeed at sewing one rolling_smile.gif , so it's either buy one or your trick, which sounds VERY EASY to do.

Thanks!
