Checking in after a long hiatus

I'm just checking in quickly---I'm so very overwhelmed with work and the coop preschool these days. Actually looking forward to summer break from school stuff. Daniel's asthma has worsened so he's on steroids through the allergy season. In the meantime I'm looking into immune support through glyconutrition. It's nothing dangerous---just a supplement made from aloe and algae that supplies some essential sugars that are missing from our diets and that facilitate cell-to-cell communication. I know several people who are having great results with it (the products are sold by a company called Mannatech). It seems to work particularly well with allergies and asthma, but also other autoimmune disorders. My friend's son has been able to go off his meds, so I'm feeling pretty hopeful about it.

Thanks to Cary for asking about me I have been missing my cyberfriends too. Hoping to get back into the swing of things around here.
