Bin Laden - Dead?

This is unconfirmed as of now but they are saying that since there was no tape acknowledging the 5th year anniv. of Sept. 11th from him it may be possible but...? Bin Laden has sent a tape every year. I don't wish death on anyone but if it's true it couldn't have happend to a better man. If it's true they say he died a month ago.

luvbug00 replied: personally i would be upset if he were dead naturaly and it wasn't because of someone torturing him and pulling out his still beating heart while he was fully concious and could feel the pain. I wish the most painful death on him.

I was thinking about this earlier and thought the same thing. If he died of natural causes then he escaped.

I agree totally. I also think it's bull. If he's dead, I want a body with dental records, fingerprints, etc, etc.

redchief replied: I'm not certain what Jeanne meant by "elections are coming up," but most don't think he's dead. Most of the pundits do, however, think he's not very healthy. It is believed there would be a quick and sure announcement should Bin Laden die so that Al'Qaeda can control the spin and take the initiative with it's new leadership. The report of his death came originally from a French reporter who heard that someone heard he died in Pakistan. Snopes is full of those kinds of false reports.

So call me a "doubting Thomas," but I won't believe he's dead until I see irrefutable proof.

Well, I've been listening to the news all day and the story has changed alot since I posted this this morning. I don't think he's dead either. Someone somewere would be all over this. This morning they said he died a month ago and I think if that were true we would have known about it a long time ago. Really, who wouldn't break their neck to leak that out?

Thats what I was thinking. Huh... low gas prices, Bil Laden dead? could there be an election comming up? I'm giving it a few weeks before I believe it.

I think she is saying that she believes it was something that was fabricated"due to elections coming up to make President Bush and his supporters look better in the polls.

Personally - I disagree - I think this is something that people are wondering about because he has never not made an attempt to contact us - and the media ran with it half cocked.

I do know that UBL has some serious health issues and requires frequent dialysis - so part of me wonders how he is surviving on the run. And while I know in some countries he is held as a hero.
