Been MIA - I missed you guys!

Nora is doing great, but she refuses to crawl. I think her chubby legs are the main problem. Poor thing! She now has two teeth and says DaDa constantly

Sophia has been - um - challenging lately. She is just so darn dramatic! The other night she threw a fit because her "legs were broken" and I wouldn't carry her. Every day she has at least 6 tantrums and refuses so do anything she is asked to do. She also refuses to go potty when she is asked, so she'll go all day without peeing and then have an accident The threes are DEFINITELY worse than the twos for us.

My sister is still getting married to the deadbeat jerk in February. I am so upset about this, but have resigned to bite my tongue and say nothing more to her about it. And I have to squeeze my chubby butt into a matron of honor gown. Ugh!

Oh, I got a really nice new digital camera for Christmas. Here are some shots of the girls (the only ones I have on this computer right now!)

I can't believe Nora is saying DaDa. I'm jealous. Megan barely speaks but has become a bit more vocal lately. THe problem is her sister speaks for the world so she has no reason to talk.

I know what you mean about the threes, although we never went through the terrible twos. I though that we were out of the woods, when we did not have any tantrums from Christian.

I actually saw those in the mall & thought that they looked like an old 70's beer sign.

I hate 3. Despise it. mainly because it's like living with Dr. Jeckyll & Mr Hyde. K will push every button I've got then turn around and be sweet/cute as pie. Drives me nuts. Just pick one ya know? UGH

Totally LOL about the broken legs though. That's great!

So Sophia is actually riding that bike hua? K still refuses to pedal her trike. She prefers the flintstone method.

Nora is cute as ever. Can't wait to see you guys again...in the meantime, take lots of pics with that new camera & those girls for me.

p.s. We bought the Busch Gardens passes for our family christmas gift so next time you come our way, we can go there.

I SO know what you mean about 3! I swear that's most of the reason I'm hardly on here anymore b/c I have a DEMANDING 3 year old who happens to be quite dramatic himself...occupies quite a bit of my time!

LOL about the picture, I guess it goes back to the whole..."it's the thought that counts" philosophy! That gift may actually change my mind on the whole regifting idea...if I got that as a gift, I think I'd have to find someone else who could appreciate it's beauty!!

I hear 'ya about the 3's. After 2 , I was so busy patting myself on the back for my obviously wonderful parenting skills that allowed me to escape all that "terrible 2's" trauma . . . . .then the 3's hit! Oh the drama!!! Life has never been the same since!

I'm glad ya'll had a great Christmas! I know what you mean about the terrible threes. I thought 2 was bad...at three they can talk more and talk back and they are bigger and stronger.

Yes! I couldn't believe that she caught on so quickly since she never used the pedals on her big wheel before. The trick was to raise the seat. She couldn't do it very well when it was lower, but as soon as we raised the seat it was like she'd been riding for years.

LOVE Busch Gardens... can we rent a babysitter to sit with the kids while we ride the roller coasters? LOL!

Yes the 3s. I know what you mean. Like Cary said above Jade manages to push every one of my buttons. Like the conversation just now:

Jade: I want to take a bath mommy.
Me: Not right now. It's too early and your sister is sleeping down here.
Jade: (in a quiet whiney voice) I want to take a bath.
Me: I told you Jade I can't give you a bath right now.
Jade: ( same quite whiney voice with big blue pleading eyes) I want to take a bath.

Yeah this went on for a bit until I started to get the annoyed Mommy voice. She decided that she would go play instead.

Jade has regressed with us and the potty stuff as well. She sees me changing Jordan all the time so that might be it.

Anyway it's glad to hear from you. We sure did miss you.

Com'on over....we can get some popcorn too! bwaahahahahaha I'm still totally laughing about that Amy. Saved the email and crack up every time I read it. laughing now just thinking about it. I will SO never let you forget that.

Mom:"No, and please don't whine at me."
Corey: "You HATE me." (cries dramatically while burying her head in her arms).

3 is most definitely work. It all came flooding back to me (had buried it deep in the recesses of my childrearing memories).
