Bad, bad morning sickness
mysweetpeasWil&Wes wrote: What do you do about bad morning sickness????
I never had it with Wil, but it keeps getting worse every day!! And it lasts alllllllllllllllllllll day. Usually around 1pm or so, I HAVE to lay down because I'm so exhausted and poor Wil doesn't understand what's going on. It feels like one of those bad hang overs that never go away!!
Please help...so far the only thing that sorta works is salty food! I've already had popcorn and potato chips, but if I keep this type of diet up, I'm going to be up like 60lbs in no time! Sorry to whine, but I seriously hate this!
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: sorry Rae nothing really helped me but sometimes sucking on a jolly rancher would help keep some of the nausea (still had the vomiting) under control. With Matt I would barracade myself in a room with Katy and her toys and i would lay down and try to sleep weither it was her nap time or not.
luvbug00 replied: saltine crackers were my sanity savers. I was in school and carried them in my backpack..
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Okay I'm going out and buying jolly ranchers and saltines! I haven't really puked yet, so maybe it's not that bad, but I so wish I would so that maybe I would feel better! Did someone slip me tequila last night? j/k
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I had some rough days with Logan, but my sister (had a girl) outdid me throwing up in 2 days than I had in 13 weeks. (How long I was nauseated.) Sorry, Rae. Get better vibes headed your way.
moped replied: I was sick for 9 solid months - the only thing that felt ok was bread of any kind and all kinds.................and stay away from peanuts, i loved them and threw up all the time if I even touched one
Eventually I got a perspcription for the sickness
Oh and 7up or sprite
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: THat's funny...the first real hangover non alcohol poisoning I had was this last summer and all morning I was telling dh I could finally explain so someone what my morning sickness felt, like 35 solid weeks of a hangover.
A&A'smommy replied: Teagansmommy was taking something that her doctor had prescribed for her.. maybe you could ask your doctor? I hope it goes away soon!!
*Diana* replied: Im sorry it's so rough for you! When I was pregnant, drinking gingerale always worked. I think your doctor might be able to perscribe you something as well. I can't remember what it's called.. but if you want you should ask about it!
coasterqueen replied: I can totally relate. I had horrible MS with Megan and it made it so much worse that I had to work all day and couldn't get any relief from it.
Have you tried those Preggo pops? You can get them at Babies R Us. I didn't try them because BRU wasn't built til after my MS stage, but I hear they work. Also, try ginger candy, you can usually get that at health food stores.
Nothing I tried really helped, I just got through it...miseraably.
Hang in there!
sunshine girls replied: sprite helped me, but I left it out of the fridge so it would go flat and not have so much fizz. Also saltines helped me too.
I'm sorry your having MS, it sucks
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Grapefruit and oranges helped me a lot. And sour candy helped somtimes too, but not as much as the fruit! That and eating constantly so I wouldn't get hungry... which is partly why I gained so much.
I hope the m/s goes away soon!!
