Baby's firsts... - ideas anyone?
MoonMama wrote: My goal (and I have succeeded so far) is so have a Baby's First bib for Brae for everything, Baby's First Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines etc... But I was thinking then what do I with all of them? I don't just want to pack them away somewhere and I do want to hold on to them. I thought of making a scrapbook of them along with a pic of Brae wearing each one. Then a friend suggested making a quilt with them, but ummm I don't know a single thing about quilting. So it got me thinking what else could I do with them besides scarpbook them.
Any ideas?
A&A'smommy replied: I think scrapbooking them is a great idea, it would be SOOO cute!!! BTW I love his eyes!!
CantWait replied: I was going to say quilt as well, but I like the scrapbook idea also. I'd love to see all his first pics.
C&K*s Mommie replied: What you have so far is good! Maybe digital scrapbooking or even a first website for him. I have a website begun for Christian, I just have not completed it nor started one for Kellie. Places like Things Remembered or RedEnvelope have "first" keepsakes too that you can give to him when he gets older.
MoonMama replied: I'll try to post them tonight.
Thanks ladies.
amymom replied: What if? You scrapbooked the pictures of him wearing them and saved the bibs in a special box. Then your next kid (or if you are not blessed with another than his kid) could wear the same bibs and the cycle goes on and on.
I love any of the ideas tho.
MoonMama replied: OH Anne Marie I love that idea! Thanks.
Calimama replied: I have a memory box for Bella because I HATE scrapbooking. I put everything important in this box I got at Michael's. It's the lazy person's guide to scrapbooking.
MoonMama replied: I LOVE LOVE LOVE scrapbooking!
Calimama replied: Good! Come do mine! I'll watch Braedin!
PrairieMom replied: What about making a shadow box to display them on his wall?
cameragirl21 replied: i would make a wall collage of all the pics of him in the bibs for the wall and then put the actual bibs away in a box for safekeeping.
