I just wonder if they wanted a used car that bad or the people wanted a baby that bad. It said there was also an undisclosed amount of money. The money was probably more of the issues for the parents and the car was probably an extra. Wouldn't surprise me none. Your mentality should be tested before you can become a parent.

I wonder if this means the people 'buying' the baby were involved in actual human or child trafficking or if that is just the charge for this transaction....as scary and sick as it is-the news has run several stories here lately about the increase in people stealing children to sell them into the slave(or worse) trade.... It is a terrifying world we live in,especially when you are a parent!!!!

cameragirl21 replied: i know it's horrible but these sorts of things do happen all the time. i have heard of many cases of young girls, without much money, and sometimes it's a young couple who become pg and then there are several upper class people who want the baby and it becomes a bidding war where the baby goes to whoever is willing to pay the most or offers the most incentives. this is really no different...in this case, you have one person who has a baby but wants money and possibly a car and on the other side you have a couple who has money and a car but wants a baby, so a deal was made.
there was one case where a couple kept getting pg on purpose and then promising the unborn baby to several couples at once, milking them all for cars, clothes, money, whatever else and then when the baby is born they would turn to the doc at the hospital and ask him if he knows anyone who wants to adopt and then they'd get their share from whomever the doc could find for them. they screwed over many people before they were caught.
sadly it happens more often than we think.
