stella6979 replied: I read this the other day and it almost had me in tears. What a little miracle that baby is and it's amazing what they can do nowadays. My cousin was diagnosed with spina bifida in the womb and they went in and operated on him before he was born and he's a healthy 2 year old now. He does use a walker, but he shouldn't need it for too long.

mommymommy replied: I saw this on the news and of cours it caught my attention..I am so happy that the baby was healthy and so relieved for the parents..Doctors can do so much now and it was such a nice story compared to all of the death and violence otherwise reported on the news

redchief replied: It's amazing how far we've come. When we were having children there would have nothing medical science could have done to save that baby.

Crystalina replied: I watched a surgery on t.v. once where they had to open the mother up and do surgery on the baby before it was born. They never extracted the entire baby, only and arm really. I forget what they were fixing.
