Ashley is growing up so fast!... (m)

MommyToAshley wrote: Ok, not only can she take her bib off, but she can take her diaper off too!!! So, I have to keep pants over them. LOL laugh.gif

She is also saying DaDa. I can't believe she said DaDa first! I've been working with her to say MaMA. She says, "MAAWWW" when she cries in bed and wants me to come get her, but what she really means is WAW!

Of course, TLCDad is gleaming now that she can say DaDa! Now, we get to hear DaDa, giggles, and raspberries all day long.

OH, and she has this new smile too. She squints her eyes and wrinkles her nose... it is so funny! biggrin.gif

My baby is growing up sooo fast! Where has all the time gone?

madaise replied: The "da" sound is easier for them to say than the "ma" sound.. so don't take it personally, lol. (No offense, tlcdad, biggrin.gif) He can still preen and give lots of raspberries... rolling_smile.gif

Hate the "take off" diaper stage.. Teigen is STILL doing it. Only now, he pees a whole lot more than he did at 6 months! No more puddles here.. it's more like little pools!

LOVE the wrinkle nose grins... love-love-love them! smile.gif

TLCDad replied: Its AWSOME! She says DaDa and looks at me wink.gif wub.gif wub.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: Awww so cute. I cant waite to hear it. I dont care if Kaitlin says Dada or Mama first. I just love watching her grow.

ps they can also say Di Di pretty easly, I think most of the nephews said that before mama, always made me smile even though I know they did not know they were saying my name. smile.gif

MommyToAshley replied: Madaise, dont tell me that! I was hoping she would out grow the "take diaper off" stage fairly quickly! I also hope she outgrows this fake cough thing she does for attention. I can usually tell the fake ones, but I still jump to make sure she is ok.

Di, I hope Kaitlin gets well soon so you can hear Ashley in person. Maybe she will be saying your name by then. smile.gif Soon, Kaitlin and Ashley will be lil' chatter boxes and we'll never be able to keep em quiet!

Kaitlin'smom replied: Ya, I would say I can't wait but as soon as I do I will wonder where the time went! I am looking foward to it. wacko.gif

supermom replied: Awwww.....I bet that *IS* so cute!! I can't wait to get this new one in my hands and do all this kewl stuff all over again!!

I want to see too (yeah, right, like I ever get to go anywhere - lol). Do you guys live close to each other, then, since you talk about visiting? I assumed so.....

Oh, and for her saying DaDa - all of mine said that first because it *is* easier, but it doesn't keep the dads from gloating! LOL.......

And, as far as time passing fast, my oldest will be 18 years in about two weeks - talk about where did the time go? And it goes faster the older you get. My mom used to tell me that, but I would never believe her.

Kaitlin'smom replied: yes we do live colse with in 10 minutes............and have been friends for a few years now. We blame then (j/k rolleyes.gif ) for us having a little one.

MommyToAshley replied: Supermom... I've seen pictures of you from Anders' web site and I know there is no way you have an 18 year old! What does your 18 yr old think about the baby? I was 17 when my Mom had my younger brother, and I loved it! I just adored him!

Yes, Di (Kaitlin) and I live close to each other. Our husbands seem to do things at the same time... buy computers, buy a house, have kids...haha.

Madaise and HomeIsCool live close too...but we have not met YET. It is funny that we met on this board and had no idea we were from the same town. We plan to get together to meet sometime SOON! soon.gif

There seems to be a lot of people from Canada on here too... we should rename this board, "Parenting Club for Ohioans and Canadians" haha. Just kidding, there are some people from Louisiana and other parts of the country too.

I think it is time for you and Anders' to go on a roadtrip tank.gif and come visit us! You can bring the DH if ya want, but not a requirement. haha.

CantWait replied: I play on a game website, pogo.com and it seems there's plenty people from Ohio and Canada there as well lol.

supermom replied: Thank you so much - you make me feel great - good for my ego that is for sure!

No, I will be 44 next month and this will probably be our last. I have three older ones from a previous marriage, and then Anders, who will be 3 in about 2 weeks and due again in August.

So, we will probably be quitting (I don't think my body is up to another one, even if I could be so lucky to get pregnant once again). Sometimes I do get sad thinking about this being the last time, but also kind of glad too - wierd!

Well, if our business would ever let us get away, we'd love to come, but when you work for yourself - well, you know how that goes!

You guys are all great.......hopefully we will get to meet sometime.

All of my kids (the 18, 16 and almost 14 YO) are thrilled - of course, the boy is cheering for another boy and the two girls want a girl (I am leaning towards pink, but thrilled with anything healthy!) They are great with Anders and I am sure they will be as great with this one.

supermom replied: After I posted, I realized that who you are probably seeing is my daughter(s) laugh.gif because they are in quite a few of those pics (I am usually BEHIND the camera where it is safe!) - If you REALLY want to see pic of me, it's here: http://www.fament.com/supermom/ - it's a few years old, so I've got a few more pounds on, but basically the same. Hopefully, in a year, those few more pounds will be a thing of the past!

It was a nice ego trip while it lasted - giggle -

MommyToAshley replied: What a beautiful family! And a wonderful wedding ceremony! You look georgeous -- and so happy! Now I see where Anders gets his blonde hair -- Daddy! smile.gif

I liked the picture of Anders in the sunglasses -- too funny! cool.gif
