coasterqueen wrote: I will search online too but thought I would ask here. Does anyone have any good crockpot recipes? We've been doing a roast about once a week, but I'd like to try other things like with chicken and pork, etc. Any ideas?

I did find some very simple, basic recipes online though. I think I printed off 6 or so so we'll see.

Again, I really do appreciate the offer. smile.gif

Serenity0811 replied: Hello, I am pretty new to this sight but I would be interested in crock pot recipes.
If anyone would like please send me some. I would like one to make a roast as well. Thanks

Stayathomedad replied: I have tons of crockpot recipes and alot of them arepretty basic. There's Italian Beef, Mostaccioli, chicken tacos, chicken licking good pork chops, beef stew, beef and barley soup, and many others. If you're interested, let me know and I can either post some of them or e-mail them to you.

I loves the crockpot. wub.gif

ammommy replied: Here is a super easy one that makes good sandwiches.
One pot roast, one packet of au just seasoning mix, cook on low for 6-8 hours or whenever you get around to it. Mix up another au jus pack, put meat on bun with provolone cheese (any white cheese, really) and prest french dip sandwiches!

Hey Geoff, those sound great! Can I get some of the recipes? Especially the pork chop, Italian Beef, and Mostaccioli. YUM...

http://pages.ivillage.com/momof3add/crockpot.html this is a great site, too.

Stayathomedad replied: Sexymomma, sorry I forgot I posted here so I haven't been checking this board for replies. I will try to post some of those recipes as soon as I have some time. Will probably take a few days as I am usually only online between other duties and only on for a few mins at a time. Will do my best tho.

In the meantime, I posted on the "Calling all Cooks" thread a recipe for a casserole called "Beef and Potato Bake". Perhaps that might be something you'd want to try as well.

Good luck.
Geoff.

ammommy replied: Thanks Geoff. I figured you were busy. I probably won't be on until Monday, myself so no hurry. Those do sound yummy, though.

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Hamburger Helper actually makes a crockpot helper now. You can find it in the same place that you find all the other ones. Most times all you have to do is add the meat. The beef stew one is really good.

1valentinemom replied: I got TONS of crockpot recipes from Fly Ladys site (www.flylady.net). Wonderful site for learning to get organized and bring peace to your home. I copied them all and will eventually get to try most of them rolleyes.gif

Amy if your serious I would LOVE to have that I need to get back to cooking starting this week (at my apartment) and I'm horrible when it comes to being creative!

organicmommy replied: I would love to have the email with the crock pot recipes as well. With a 7 month old that wants my constant attention, it seems to be the best way for me to actually have dinner at night. It doesn't seem possible to cook in the afternoon but I can when she takes her morning nap!

My email is organicmommy@hotmail.com

Thanks
Jessica

Celestrina replied: My fav is for pulled pork.

1) spray pot lightly with pam

2) put 1/2 cup of chopped onion on the bottom

3) 2 lbs of pork loin - leave it whole

4) 18 oz container of bbq sauce

5) cook on low for 8-10 hours

6) pull pork apart - the finer the better

7) mix with sauce left in pot
