that was sad, but lets think if she could bairly afford to go to the audition they why was her DH and child with her? would that not casue more money to be spent? dont get me wrong its a sad story but how much was exaggerated to pull att he strings of the judges? just glad she could carry a tune

5littleladies replied: Absolutely watched it! How about that guy who sang "Tomorrow" from Annie. What was he thinking holding all those notes for so long? I was dying laughing by the time he finally made it to his last note.

Am I the only that disagreed with the Rocker dude? He dumped his band?? How long will he last.

I cried with the mother too..she pawned her wedding rings. Man, you don't get more dedicated than that. I hope someone has pity on her and gives her the money to buy them back.

mammag replied: I watched it. I thought the one guy was hilarious. The one who kept saying he was sexy. When he first said it Conner turned to Kristen & Cade and said (in a questioning serious tone) "he's sexy?" It had us all cracking up. Then when he made the comment "I don't really like people". What a way to win the judges over. I'm not sure he would have made it even if he could sing. But hey, at least he loves himself!!!

A&A'smommy replied: Mary was halarious I like how that put the psycho tune in with her going nuts!!! I could NEVER put myself through that humiliation!! I liked the girl that cussed them out that was halarious! How on earth can those people think they sing good

I bet some of them are just normal (not good) singers and do that to get on tv. I simply can't believe that all of them think they sing good.

mckayleesmom replied: I didn't know it was on....Either way...I can't believe that someone would sell their wedding rings to go on American Idol. Thats horrible. I wouldn't feel sorry for her. I know my husband would be hurt terribly if I ever did that. He worked hard to give me them.

jcc64 replied: Last night was the 1st time I ever watched it (ds wanted to watch together). It was riveting like a bad car wreck .Much of it made me squirm and want to avert my eyes, but at the same time I couldn't turn away. The people are so raw and exposed and hopeful and so, so bad, I just can't believe they have so little self awareness (or honest friends). It's absolutely hilarious and tragic at the same time. Will definitely be watching again.

MomToMany replied: DH & I watched part of it last night, but couldn't take it anymore. The singing hurt my ears. Some of it was pretty funny, but otherwise scary !

Hey was anyone mad that they let that 17 year old boxer girl go home?? That girl could wail her a$$ off...excuse my french!!! But she could, I was really dissapointed in the judges calls on her!

I hate to ruin it, but I was told (by someone who actually auditioned) that everyone goes through a first group of judges, So, all those people who are awful have already been through the first group of judges, and sent through - because they'll be funny for the show - but those poor people are told that they are awesome and going to be bumped ahead to auditon for Simon. I think it's cruel, and don't care to give them my ratings anymore.

My2Beauties replied: I don't think that is true....I know people who know people that have auditioned and I really think that they have to endure all of those auditions themselves!

mammag replied: Yes, that actually said on one of the shows last year that they have to go through other judges first so you know that is why they are putting them through. I actually enjoy the show much more when it gets to the actual competition. I only watch this part when there's nothing better on tv.

Like when tehy did the two girls - seperate girls- at once and they both stunk, and the one girl comes running back "WAIT A SECOND!" and starts cursing up a storm!? LOL
