NummyMommy replied: Well I'm thinking Dino doesnt count....and Benji was a movie dog (I had a poster of him on my wall ) so I'd have to say Barkley (I think thats his name) the dog on Sesame Street  Anyone remember Dorse? from the show by Sid and Marty Kroft?...can't remember the name but it had Ruth Buzzy as a robot....would have said Dorse but hes part horse.

NummyMommy replied: It's the same trainer....Joe Camp....but another dog....they have info on all the Benji's (a total of 4)....theres only one Benji at any given time though 
oh and trivia fans will be interested that the original Benji also played on Petticoat Junction (gosh I'm old too )

Oh my--I thought I was the only person who remembers watching the Kroft shows--that show was The Lost Saucer but my favorites were Electra Woman and Dyna Girl and the Bugaloos.
As for my favorite TV dog....maybe Astro from the Jetsons
