Jordan was born with a disease called Hirschsprungs disease. With this disease you can not detect it on the ultrasounds. so everyone figured he was a healthy little guy. He was admitted into the nicu and then discahrged because he was gettign better and was to have an operation to get fixed in a couple weeks. 4th day at home he started to get worse again so i took him back in. He was admitted into the peds ward and that night started to get seizures. he was transferred to the PICU. He was hooked up to 100 percent oxygen and an medication induced coma to control the siezures and have his brain heal. He was getting worse. he was rushed in to the OR and had an ileostomy put it. He then went into spetic shock and lapsed into a coma. he died of brain death a couple days later. he was 17 days old when he passed away! i donated his organs ... hs heart went to a sick baby in toronto and his kidneys stayed here and went to a sick lady. I wanted to prevent a mother the pain of losing a child. And i wanted something good to come out of what is a very tradgic situation...
