1. I have been married to DH for 3 years (going to be 4 years in Sept)

6. I used to draw, actually had an art scholarship

11. I have 1 sister and 3 brothers
12. My favorite food is chicken.

15. I started out as a finance major in college
16. I am petrified of any kind of bug

My best friend in Hawaii was filipino. Her family lived on rice. Maybe it's a cultural thing? I swear, we would go to her house after school and her one job, every day, was to wash the rice and set it up to cook. LOL I thought she was soooo cool for knowing how to cook in 6th grade!

ROFLMBO -- you are hilarious! It must be another one of those geographical terms. It means that I caught some fish and he caught "0". If someone scores "0" then they were skunked. The term applies to anything, baseball, football, etc.
This turned out to be really fun, I've really enjoyed reading everyone's 25 facts so far.

2. i studied to be an air traffic controller after graduating from high school but never got my degree because of a really awful teacher.
3. in the air national guard, i pretty much do the same thing as an air traffic controller.
4. growing up, i found (in my yard) a rabbit, bird (like a parrot) and a couple cats and snuck them in my house and took care of them..LOL
5. i am totally scared to talk in front of people, as in speeches and such. i start shaking really bad and my heart feels like it's gonna pound out of my body even if it's as little as 5 people i don't know.

Ok here I go....

2) I have known DH since 6th grade, we started dating as soon as we graduated HS so we've been together for 12 years this 8/16.
3) Dh and I have been married 7 years now after a 1 year and 9 month engagement.
4) I always had a boyfriend in HS, but always cheated on them. So Dh was the first man I never wanted to or have cheated on. He made me a new person. 
5) I was kicked out of my house 2 times in HS because I could never get along with my dad. The last time I never came back and that was when I was 17.
6) I have one sister who is 6 years younger than me.
7) My mom was 18 and my dad was 20 when I was born.
8) I used to smoke, quit when I got pg with Kylie and I did dabble in drugs in HS.
9) After a crappy time in HS (I hated HS) I have had a hard time being friends with females. I just don't put the energy in that I should. I guess I'm a loner, lol.
10) I used to work in greenhouses in HS and would LOVE to own my own greenhouse someday even though I'm horrible at taking care of my plants now.

3. When I try hard to be clever or funny, I almost always am not funny, and sometimes I even offend someone and then feel horrible shame.
4. My mother protested the Vietnam war while my father served over there. Yes, this is the source of most of my internal conflict.
5. They got divorced upon his return, so I was raised half navy brat and half flower child.
6. Something I'm very proud of: I graduated with highest honors in English from the University of Michigan.
7. I started out as a theater major but was too shy to attend a single audition.
8. I experience extremes of spiritual connectedness to life and intense cynicism about humanity.
9. I often bite my tongue, but then when I speak up, it always sounds so much meaner and harsher than I intend it to. I'm working on this.
10. Bliss to me is completing the New York Times Crossword puzzle.
11. What my intellectual colleagues here at work don't know about me: I love Last Comic Standing and American Idol and I love to sing pop ballads.
12. I'm math phobic, but I manage the staff of copy editors at Mathematical Reviews.
13. I've seen The Exorcist 6 times. That's enough though.
14. I'm old (40), but DH is older (53). I was 38 when I had Daniel.
15. My parents are distantly related (they were HS sweethearts in the same very small town in Maine and all of our ancestors on both sides go back in that town to the 1600's).
16. I bought the house right next door to my older sister, and we share a huge back yard (took down the fence between).
17. Until I got pregnant, I was a size 2. I'm now buying 4 (a bit tight) to 6, down from 8.
18. I have hazel eyes and naturally wavy brown hair (at least I think it's brown---I haven't seen my natural color in a long time, and I know there's some gray).
19. I'm a terrible housekeeper even when I have the time, and you can forget about the yard---but I dream of learning to make beautiful gardens some day.
20. I'm a cat person. Dogs are smelly and demanding, but I love them too.
21. I've never traveled outside of the US and Canada.
22. My mother is an artist/homesteader who never remarried. My dad is married for the fourth time and is retired from the navy (he works as a civilian still at Maine Maritime Academy).
23. I have one sister and three half sisters and we are all very close: Lucinda, Erika, Kathryn and Vanessa. No brothers.
24. I love vocal music more than anything, because I love melody and I love lyrics. For instrumental music, I prefer jazz or bluegrass, and I can't stand heavy metal or even standard rock and roll (I know I'm in the minority here on that one!).
25. I know all the words to certain episodes of Bob the Builder and can speak along with the characters. DH thinks I do a sterling imitation of Wendy.

Amy, that is hysterical. Honestly, if I'd ended up married to my ex, I would have weighed as much as 3 of him when I was pregnant. He was a shrimp! I still outweighed DH at the end of my pregnancy with K but just barely & he never knew. 
As far as the dog thing....that's sad but OMG is it funny! I'll bet you were mortified.
