We have a park very close to us, within 5 minutes walking distance... but it takes us 20 minutes because Ashley has to stop everywhere along the way.
Anyways, she played on the swings, played with the neighbor girl, and then we were getting ready to leave. As we were leaving, there were two teenage boys headed towards the basketball courts. One of them had kind of long hair. Ashley saw them and started running towards them. She pointed and then said "Ball! Ball!" Then, she pointed at the one with longer hair and said "GIRL! GIRL!" I said, "YEs those two boys are playing basketball" And then she pointed again and said "ball! GIRL! ball!" Everytime I would try to get her to come the other way so we could leave, she would run back and point and say "GIRL! GIRL! BALL!" I had to pick her up and carry her so we could leave.

MommyToAshley replied: They didn't say anything. They may not have heard her the first time, but she kept on saying it... so I am sure they eventually heard her. I was too embarrassed to look at them again and just left.
