16 Kids and moving in

kayla's mama replied: Jason's Aunt and Uncle has atleast 9 kids. They are the best behaved kids you ever saw. The oldest is going to college through scholarships and a work program.

But ITA, I don't think that I could physically or mentally handle that many kids

I think it takes a really, really special person to handle that many.

Crystalina replied: I watched on TLC last night. The house they are building is so beautiful. Looks more like a hotel.
Now that mother has got it together. She is so darn organized.

My sis has 6 kids and baby #7 will be here in about a week! The kids' room are a mess but the rest of her house in immaculate. When you walk in her house you wouldn't know a kid even lives there.

She had her first when she was 17 and the first thing she said when she saw him was that she wanted another one and by God she kept her word. They are all boys except for Allison, she was baby #2. Even the one still baking is a boy.

Yeah, they are repeating it, I am pretty sure it is scheduled for Monday night at 6 mountain, 8 eastern. I am sure they will repeat it again and again. Above is a link to the scheduled air times.

CAMSMOM1 replied: I watched the last 30 min. of it. Did they have a lot of that stuff donated to them? How could they afford such a beautiful house & stuff like that? Wow, that was an amazing house! They deserve it. They really have a great family, all the children are respectful to one another, and the Mom really keeps everything running smoothly. I wonder how she does it?! I think I'm going to watch it again when it comes on, since I missed the first half. It was pretty interesting.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: In the first one, they said that they buy everything with cash, if they don't have the cash, they do without. They have absolutely no credit debt. Or at least they didn't 2 kids ago.

maestra replied: I watched it last night. One of the things that always amazes me about them is that they are debt free. They talked about it in the first show- if they can't get it for cash they don't buy it. I am also amazed at how organized they all are.

But with all of the logo pushing on last night's show, they must have gotten some of it for free, or a huge discount.

they were building that home themselves and buying all the supplies. What they (the boys) didn't know they contracted out...

The father owned car dealership or mechanic shops and he sold them. they paid off all thier debate and have been debt free for years.
The mother home schools and the girls make most the clothing. Read thier websites and just research the last name and its amazing what they do and have done.
I am in AWWWWWW of any one that is still sane having 15 16 or whatever kids!!

jem0622 replied: I went to school with a girl who was one of 16. If they went to college it was on their dime! And they got help from family and church. They all took care of each other and did ok!
