ediep replied: Wow! I can not believe that Keira is almost 1!! She is gorgeous!!!!
What do you have planned for her big day? WHat is her room like? What sie clothes is she in now? Does she still eat baby food, or does she have adult-food?
jdkjd replied: We are having a party in Jesup, GA this weekend with the In-Laws, having a small gathering on the 15th, and having a party for my family on the 19th. It's more of a party circuit...
Her crib is in the playroom until her and Bailey's sleep cycles are the same, then she will be in Bailey's room.
She's in 12-18 month clothes. Which is funny, because Bailey is still wearing 18-34 month pants.
She's still eating some baby food, but she loves the pasta pickups, rice, potatoes, chicken, meatloaf, and yogurt
jdkjd replied: Some funny pics. She was sleep-eating.
jdkjd replied: Sleep-eating 2...

MommyToAshley replied: Aweee, she is beautiful! I love those pictures. I think she looks especially pretty in pink.
What does she think of her big sister? What makes her laugh? Does she have a security item yet? Does she say any words yet? Does she like bathtime?
jdkjd replied: Bailey makes her laugh! We have "Running" as an activity in the evenings, where Bailey will start running around the house and Ryan/Kiera/Me will chase her. Kiera thinks it's the best game ever.
No security item except Mama. She is VERY attached. A lot more than Bailey was.
She says Mama, Daddy and Thank you (Ti-to)
She loves bathtime. If she is fussy in the evenings, I'll go ahead and put her in the bath to play. Last night it was more of a jacuzzi (if you know what I mean)
Thank you Edie and Dee for the questions...
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Squishy, huh? lol
What's up with the nickname? Does Kiera use, now or before, a pacifier? Does she pull Bailey's hair? Has she started any tantrums yet? Like a little Diva?
Mommy2BAK replied: HAHA, those pictures of her sleeping while she eats are too cute!!!
MomToMany replied: Can't believe her birthday is coming up already!!! Weren't we just pregnant???
Those pics are CUTE!!!
What kind of cake is she going to get? What kind of presents? Does Bailey like her sister?
Kaitlin'smom replied: thoese pics of her sleeping are so cute.
1 already? did you just not have her, time just flies by
I she walking yet? How are the girls together? was it hard adjsting from 1 to 2? does she 'talk' alot? whats her favorite food?
Squishy??? care to explain?
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Jenn, she is so beautiful! I can't WAIT for Ethan to meet her!
Do you have any recent pics of the girls together? Is she sleeping well? What is her favorite toy? What will you get her for her first b-day? How does she express herself? Is she a good baby?
kimberley replied: she sure is adorable! and getting so big!
how is she like her sister? how is she different? how did you choose her name? what is your fav thing to do with her? what amazes you the most about her?
jdkjd replied: Squishy is because of her roll-alicious thighs and forearms. They are getting less rolls due to the velocity of running but she's still my squishy nonetheless (also a shout-out to Finding Nemo- Dory with the baby jellyfish)
Kiera would tolerate pacifiers for short periods of time but that's about it. Otherwise it would be spat across the room.
She loves hair. Mine in particular. She strokes it when she has her bottle and when she's going to sleep. She's very handsy. She tries to touch Bailey's hair-Bailey freaks out.
Only time she unhappy is poopy diaper, hungry or really tired. No tantrums yet. At this age, Bailey was already doing the full-body thrash tantrum. Fun!
jdkjd replied: She's probably getting a cupcake. I'm going to let the Grandmas go crazy on the presents. She really has a ton of stuff already...
Bailey loves HER baby. She is very protective, and loves to "help" whenever she can. Her best talent is distracting Kiera when I changer her diaper (Kiera hates diaper changes)
jdkjd replied: Walking great. The crawling only happens every once in a while now.
The girls are great together MOST of the time. Sometimes there is some competition for attentions but generally they are pretty good.
It's been pretty hard-mainly because neither of them are good sleepers. It seems like I'm always up with one of them.
She has always babbled a lot-but she just recently started calling me-Mama and Ryan-Daddy.
Butternut squash and Sweet potatoes.
Kaitlin'smom replied: thoes were Kailtin's favorites also
coasterqueen replied: I don't remember when I read the other one's if this was asked or not, so bear with me.
Those pictures of her are just darling!
Was Kiera an easier baby than Bailey was to handle? What do you think she'll be when she grows up just by how she acts now?
jdkjd replied: Back atcha. Ethan and Kiera would make beautiful babies!!
I only have one pic of them together and they are watching Dora...
She has good night and bad nights. She generally gets up twice. Once around 9 and once around 11 or 12.
Fav toy: plastic recorder, hokey-pokey elmo, books with the music buttons
She is pretty reserved-more of an observer, but when she is happy her whole face breaks in to a smile.
Great baby. Very easy to figure out whats going on (generally)>
ediep replied: Jenn, I don't know if I ever told you this but one of my best friends named her daughter Brynn, (and Brynn, or Brynnie and Jason calls her, is one of his favorite playmates) how did you come across it for Keira's middle name?
jdkjd replied: Completely opposite. Even moods, eats everything, no tantrums and doesn't put every friggin thing in her mouth (Bailey was/is a drama queen, picker eater, etc)
Kiera Bryn is Celtic (as is Bailey)-my husband is 100% Irish. Kiera is the female derivative of Kieran. Means dark, precious one. Bryn means beacon (like Bryn Mawr)
She loves to clap so we do Itsy Bitsy Spider or Patty Cake-where she can use her hands. I love to lay her on the floor and tickle her-she's very ticklish.
I am amazed by her openness to others and different experiences. She seems to enjoy watching and learning.
(Here is a pic of the girls together-They are watching Dora...they never stay still so this is all I could get.)
jdkjd replied: Kiera is easier to handle-different temperment completely. She's much more like myself in that she is more interested in watching others than being the center of attention (generally).
Bailey is more dramatic. Which should make for some interesting dynamics when they are teenagers.
kit_kats_mom replied: What is her favorite music?
Doe she have any playmates?
iluvmysweetiepies replied: She is so adorable! I love the names Kiera and Bailey!!
jdkjd replied: Any music is good to her! She bops to everything...she does love the Wiggles though.
No playmates yet besides Bailey. I'll have to ask at daycare to see if she is favoring anyone...
